Chapter 1288 “Thalassa, why the rush? Hold up for me,” Evelyn called out, panting slightly as she tried to keep up.
Thalassa had hailed an Uber.
They were now waiting outside the hotel for their ride.
Just as they settled into position, a sleek white Lamborghini pulled up beside Thalassa.
She stepped aside with Evelyn, giving the car sspace to park.

It was Lysander.
Thalassa’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, and she instinctively tightened her grip on Evelyn's hand.
Lysander’s piercing gaze fell on Thalassa for a moment before shifting downward to the hands clasped tightly together. Thalassa appeared nervous, perhaps even fearful of him.
“Need a lift?” Lysander’s deep voice broke the silence.
Evelyn was about to reply, but Thalassa pulled her back and stepped forward. “You're blocking the way. Our Uber will need space to stop.” “The Uber won't be coming,” Lysander said, his voice rich and enigmatic.
Thalassa’s eyes flickered with confusion. “What did you do to the Uber driver?” How could Lysander possibly know she had ordered an Uber? And even the specific driver? a Lysander’s eyes grew dark as the depths of the ocean, fixating on her. “You seem to care about everyone else,” he said, the chill in his voice unmistakable.
Everyone but him.
Feeling the coldness in his stare, Thalassa’s brows knitted together, her breath catching. Although she was deeply upset by his actions, she still dared not truly provoke him. She knew the consequences.
Her mother had already endured enough humiliation today, and she couldn't risk any further distress.
“I'm just concerned about whether my ride is coming or not,” Thalassa responded, implying that her concern was for the ride itself rather than the driver.
“Get in,” Lysander commanded.

My mom and | are heading to the train station, back to Starhaven. If Mr. Sinclair wants to play his games, he can do that on his own.” With that, Thalassa turned and reached for her phone to find another Uber.
But when she unlocked her phone, a message popped up. “Sorry, your Uber account has been frozen.” Thalassa was speechless. Her Uber account was frozen! How did Lysander manage that? She had successfully called an Uber just moments ago.
It was as if no matter what she did, Lysander was one step ahead to take control. He knew she was in Eldoria, and he knew about her Uber order.
Could there be something wrong with her phone? As Thalassa pondered, a new message flashed on her screen.
A Whatmessage from a contact named Atticus.
Seeing her son’s name, Thalassa quickly opened the message.
It read, “Mom, Dad askedto freeze your account. You won't be mad at me, will you?” Thalassa simply replied, “?” It turned out her own son had frozen her account? Did it mean the Uber she had ordered was also canceled by Atticus? Lysander might not be a computer genius, but that didn’t mean his child wasn’t a prod Could this meant that her trip to Eldoria was also tracked by Atticus using her phon number? With this revelation, all of Thalassa’s confusion dissolved.
Her own son Atticus had been monitoring her every move in cahoots with Lysander.
