MISTAKE 218
Chapter 218: SLEEPING TOGETHER
Even though Harry could no longer see her face, he knew she was really considering it. He
knew that the route to the campsite was clear. They were hoping swould try going back to hide and get
caught.
"Okay, but you can't get scared and escape without me," she agreed, and his face broke into a smile in the dark.
"Come, Lord Harry will lead you to safety," he said, leading her to sneak out of the cluster of trees. He already
knew the route. They took their tto avoid running into one of the ghosts. That way, Lydia would not be
spooked. Many times, they saw a ghost pursuing someone who was roaming in the distance, but they were
always far away. Harry led her back to camp, where they snuck around again. This time, it was more than
making sure Harry wasn't caught, hiding in the campsite. It was also because Lydia did not want anyone to see
Harry enter her tent. After sneaking around for a bit, they finally made their way back to Lydia's tent. Lydia
zipped her tent open and chucked Harry in immediately. Harry did not need a soothsayer to understand what she
was thinking.
With both of them now in the small tent, Lydia felt awkward. She had him take off his shoes and he did so before
finding somewhere to sit. She too sat, and they descended into an
awkward silence.
+ "Don't put on the lamp. Someone would be able to see two people sitting inside your tent. You don't want that,
right?" He asked, and she paused and slowly withdrew her fingers from the lamp.
"How about we lie down?" he asked.
"Why?" she asked incredulously.
"You don't wish for us to sit up all night, right?" he asked.
"still..."
"If we are lying down, even with the lamp on, no one would be able to make out that there are two people in

low chuckle. It was funny how flustered she was. "It is not as though | will do something to you," he said, and he
put on the lamp as he lay
down beside her.
"So, do you want to tellwhy you callLord Harry?" He asked, and Lydia suddenly felt that the space in the
two-person tent was too small.
"Why? | am not allowed to know." He asked when he noticed her wanting to roll away.
"There is nowhere to go; give up and tell me," he said. She could hear amusement in his voice,

making her want to escape even more. But he was right; there was nowhere to go.
"It is either lord or saint, but we went for lord," she replied.
"We? You and your friends?" He asked, "I knew you were all acting odd on the bus." "Yes," she answered.
"So, Lord or Saint, it doesn't matter. Why did you even have to decide?" he asked.
"Maybe we are just one of your fans," she said.
"lI am not a celebrity," he countered.
"Say that to your flock of sheep," she scuffed.
"Then it is even more impossible that my fans would think of themselves as sheep," he said, and she knew he
had trapped her.
"Every tyou appear, your flock will gather, which usually makes life easier for us," she gave up and
explained. "How?" He was genuinely curious.
"When you stand in line, many people suddenly leave our line and go to yours to be closer to you, leaving the
line empty for us to move forward faster. Yesterday, you were playing basketball in the court out in the fields,
and your flock gathered, leaving the laundry room empty so we could do our laundry," she explained, and Harry
started laughing, so she clasped his mouth shut.
"Do you want people to hear us?" She whispered, then took away her hand quickly, as though she had just
touched something hot. He calmed down after her warning.
"My roommate toldyesterday that sgirls bowed three times my way after while | was playing; he
thought | had reached the realm where my flock, as you call them, had started bowing to me. He said they called
"Someone saw that?" she asked, and he nodded.
"So, you all have been usingfor your benefit. What about my reward?" he asked, and she seemed confused.
"We even bow to you; is that not enough?" she asked.
"How can it be enough?" He asked, "My guess is that forto ascend to lord status, | must have made your
school lives very easy.
"Well, we never harmed you; why do we have to give you anything? You make it sound as though we took
advantage of you."
"But didn't you?" he asked, and she snorted.

"The air might as well drag the human race for compensation, then. It is not like it is our fault it exists," she
scoffed and turned around. "Don't sleep yet; | am bored," he called to her.
"Who says | am sleeping?" she asked.
"Then, let's talk."
"About what?" she asked and turned around to meet his soulful eyes.
"You don't need to avoidso much," he said.
"How do | avoid you?" She was completely confused.

"You do; you behave as though being aroundis a bad thing. In the bus, you barely talked to me. Is it
something | did?" he asked.
"What are you talking about? Any sane person would avoid you."
"Why? Most people don't avoid me," he countered with a frown.
"Those were your fans. Anyone who is right in the head would stay away. Your celebrity status could get
someone destroyed by your fans," she insisted. Her words made him relieved somewhat. It seems he was not
the problem; his fans were. But then again, he was the problem, wasn't he?
"You know | am not a celebrity, right?" he asked.
"Tell that to the number of fan edits done about you on the school forums," she scoffed.
"My grandmother paid people to make edits about me," he said, and she paused.
"Really? What about the fan fiction?" she asked.
"That too. A gifted woman threw starot cards and said my wife was in this university, so | got sent here to
do my masters. She got impatient and decided to speed things along," he explained, making her speechless. His
grandmother sure was an interesting woman "Sure, you don't have any notable work except your face, but she
succeeded in gathering a fandom for you, meaning you are famous, at least in this university. | am not avoiding
you; | am trying to survive."
With this, she turned back around, took out her phone, and continued watching her .
Harry stared at her back in amusement for a while before he closed his eyes. It did not take long for both of them
to fall asleep.
The first to wake up the next day was Harry. He noticed she was curled up against him and paused. His eyes
glanced down at her sleeping form and becamused. A thought crossed his mind when he saw her sleeping
face: she was cute. He stared for a little while longer before Chapter 218 SLEEPING TOGETHER
he slowly adjusted her off him. When he was free, he unzipped her tent and looked around to make sure no one
was around. He noticed it was just the sun rising; there was still mist in the forest air. He put on his shoes and
left her tent. Inside a tent not too far away, a girl from the music department was coming out of her tent. She
paused when she saw him cout of the tent. She knew whose tent that was; it was Lydia's tent.
