Chapter 444 I Don't Have to Explain

Alexa followed the sound of the voice and saw Sasha wearing an elegant and chic black dress.

"Sasha."

Dale immediately smiled. It seemed that they had a good relationship.

"I haven't seen you for days. Why do you suddenly want to treat me to a meal today?"

Sasha talked to Dale and greeted Alexa as they sat down.

On the other hand, Zeke's face was stiff.

"Kasey, this is Ms. Molina."

"Dad, how did you meet Ms. Molina?"

Sasha smiled calmly and said generously.

"I have known Dale for many years and we have been working together. We are old friends."

"I see..."

Kasey looked more and more embarrassed and quietly sized up Zeke.

Alexa sipped her tea and smiled without saying a word.

She and Terrence were simply here to watch a play.

Dale had a lot of prejudice against Zeke, or else he would not have specially invited Sasha here today.

At the same table, the atmosphere between the people was a little awkward.

"Kasey, didn't you say that you were going to introduce your boyfriend to me? Tell me."

Dale casually asked and glanced at Zeke.

He sat beside Kasey timidly, not even daring to raise his head.

"Dad." Kasey forced a smile, "I've known Zeke for three years. He is starting his own business for the

sake of our future.”

Sasha suddenly laughed.

Kasey pretended not to hear and continued.

"But his company has been in a bit of trouble recently, so we want to talk to you about cooperation."

"Start a business?" Sasha suddenly said, "Young people fancy starting up businesses, but many of

them failed."

"Zeke has the experience, so there won't be any problems."

"My company was in good operation at the beginning, but it was inexplicably targeted and was on the

verge of bankruptcy."

Zeke clenched the cup and looked at Terrence with a gloomy look.

"I also want to ask my dear brother-in-law, what is going on?"

Terrence was helping Alexa to cut the steak and did not look at Zeke.

"I don't think I owe you an explanation."

"I know Alexa has always disliked me, but there is no need to do so."

Alexa silently put down the tableware and smiled gently.

"Do what?"

"My company was targeted by Hudson Group and went bankrupt. Don't tell me you don't know this?"

Zeke looked innocent. "We are all family. Is there a need to do this?"

"Is that so?" Terrence said indifferently, "Why do I remember that we don't have a person like you in our

family?"

"The higher-ups of the Duran Group have signed a petition recently." Alexa continued indifferently, "You

remember the details on that, right? We don't have to remind you anymore, do we?"

Alexa and Terrence's singing immediately made Zeke very embarrassed.

"You can also say that you were wronged. It doesn't matter." Alexa added lightly, "No one believes it

anyway."

Sasha listened silently, a mocking smile on her face.

They were all owners of giant companies, and Zeke was not even qualified to eat at the same table.

"My dear, dad is very happy you are interested in business. But first, tell me, how did the wound on

your wrist come about?" Dale said in a low voice.

"This... This is an accident."

Kasey stammered, not daring to tell the truth.

"I saw Ms. Landon at the hospital today. Are you feeling unwell?" Sasha asked unhurriedly.

"Nothing serious."

Kasey answered reluctantly, but Zeke suddenly put down the tableware and left the hall with a gloomy

face.

"Zeke!"

"Kasey, sit down!"

Dale's attitude suddenly became very serious. Kasey was so scared that she did not dare to move.

"Ah." Dale snorted and sneered, "Isobel's good son!"

The meal ended very unhappily, but Alexa and Terrence were not affected much.

During the break, Alexa personally sent Sasha to the car.

"Are you alright?" Alexa asked.

"Pretty good."

Sasha nodded as if nothing had happened.

Alexa glanced at Sasha's high heels, then looked at Sasha.

Sasha's makeup was exquisite, and there was almost no trace of fatigue, but Sasha's eyes were still

weak.

Alexa took the coat handed over by her assistant and carefully put it on Sasha.

"Health above everything. Forthat kind of trash, it is not worth it."

"It is not worth it." Sasha forced a smile, "But I am a narrow-minded person. I will take revenge for the

smallest grievance. I can't see him well."

"He offended Dale. He's going to be in trouble."

"The doctor said that it will be difficult for me to get pregnant."

Sasha sighed with emotion, her eyes full of envy.

"I really envy you. You have a husband who loves you. Soon, you will have a second child."

"Everyone's happiness is different."

Alexa comforted, and when she turned around, she found that Terrence was still standing not far away,

waiting for her.

Not only that, even Edwin was standing in place.

"What's wrong?"

Edwin was embarrassed to say so, so Terrence helped.

"The young couple is quarreling."

Alexa was stunned and suddenly laughed.

"Edwin, you can still quarrel with Marin?"

Edwin squeezed out a smile bitterly.

"I was the one who made her angry," he said carefully, "I said something wrong."

"Marin has a good temper. Maybe you should talk to her?"

"Yes, I invited her to watch a movie tonight."

"Then don't follow us." Terrence said casually, "Get ready early. Don't make her angry again this time."

"Mr. Ramsey, I know."

Terrence urged him to leave.

Alexa finally remembered to ask Terrence for the reason.

"Yesterday, an intern confessed to Edwin." Terrence said slowly, "It just so happens that Marin came to

visit and bumped into this. Edwin doesn't know

how to explain. It is simply adding fuel to the fire."

"What a CEO." Alexa nodded in approval. "You know everything about the company?"

"I know you like gossip." Terrence understood her too well, so he paid extra attention to these things.

"Then is there an intern who confessed to you, Mr. Ramsey?"

Terrence did not speak, but his hand was already on her waist.

"What do you think?"

"I think it's good that you didn't scare others to tears."

They smiled at each other.

Alexa's phone suddenly rang.

Sasha sent a message over.

"Sasha: Keyon stopped me."

Alexa then called Keyon.

"Nothing," Keyon answered quickly, "Have a chat with her."

Sasha sat opposite Keyon.

Keyon explained a few words to Alexa and hung up the phone.

"You know Kasey?" he asked coldly.

"Yes," Sasha answered. "But our relationship shouldn't be too good."
