The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 1291

Mya was enchanted by everything on the airplane, relishing the fruits and high-protein meals provided.

Aware of Mya’s pregnancy, Nancy and Macey took exceptional care of her, keeping any snacks out of

her reach for her baby’s health.

Nancy commented, “In these circumstances, it’s better to keep things under wraps for as long as

possible. However, we don’t know how long we’ll be able to stay here this time. Hopefully, the child’s

birth will go smoothly.”

Macey expressed her concern, “If Mr. Turner discovers we’ve been aiding Mr. Turner Sr. without his

knowledge, it could end badly.”

Nancy responded, “We’ll handle it step by step. Thankfully, we’ve managed to keep Ms. Harper’s

pregnancy a secret.”

Holding a strawberry, Mya asked, ” Nancy, did I win our game? See, Fred didn’t even notice I’m

carrying a baby. Is it time for my reward yet?”

Nancy promised, “Rest assured, Ms. Harper, you’ll get your reward once we arrive.”

After a hearty meal, Mya, now easily fatigued due to her pregnancy, drifted off to sleep. Upon waking,

they had arrived at an international airport in Roshya.

Fred had arranged for some of his people to pick them up and drive them to a private estate

guesthouse, surrounded by endless fields of lavender. Mya, discarding her scarf, ran toward the

lavender fields, joyously throwing herself onto the flowers. Nancy and Macey, terrified, hurried to

support Mya, fearing a fall could harm the baby.

“Ms. Harper, after we settle into the rooms, we’ll take you to the hospital for a check-up. Now that it’s

just us, there’s no need to hide anymore,” Nancy assured Mya as she and Macey helped her up.

“Got it,” Mya responded.

Their driver, a Venturian living in Roshya and an informant for Fred, was tasked with ensuring Mya’s

safety. His stern demeanor was unsettling to her and reminded her a little of Fred. Mya was intimidated,

so snuggled closer to Nancy for comfort and whispered, “He looks so fierce! Why doesn’t he talk? I

don’t like him.”

The servants shared Mya’s apprehension toward the silent driver. Macey reassured Mya, “He’s here for

your protection, on Mr. Turner’s orders.

“I still don’t like him,” Mya muttered.

At the hospital, Mya was taken to the best facility for a check-up. After a busy half-hour and the results

in, a blonde, blue-eyed doctor pointed out a shadow on her head scan. “There’s a hematoma from an

injury not yet fully healed, pressing on the tissue and nerves.

“Surgery in this condition is risky, both domestically and internationally, so it’s best treated with

medication. Fortunately, Ms. Harper, our hospital has the technology to ensure your recovery within two

years.”

Nancy exclaimed, “That’s excellent news. Macey, inform Mr. Turner about Ms. Harper’s condition.”

Macey nodded in agreement. When she dialed Fred’s number, she could not reach him or even the

Ventropolis Prison’s landline. Both numbers were not available.
