Chapter 1032
Thalassa understood Callum’s intentions all too well now.
She’d never have imagined that Callum would deflect all the credit onto Lysander just to
help her escape.
In the past, Thalassa might have questioned Callum’s motives, but ever since she found
out that Callum was not only a close friend of Leopold’s but also a righteous journalist, her
trust in him was unwavering.
“Alright. I’ll get the kids and leave Royal Estates immediately.” Thalassa said calmly,
steeling her resolve.
“I’ll wait for you at the house Lysander bought for your mother.” Callum said before
hanging up.
The house Lysander bought for her mother? Was he referring to the house that was
exchanged from the estate Leopold left behind?
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThalassa was about to step out of the bathroom when she paused.
No, rushing out like this would raise suspicions among the Royal Estates’ staff. It would be
odd to enter the bathroom and not take a bath.
To maintain appearances, Thalassa quickly showered, headed to Atticus’ room, and found
Evelyn cheerfully recounting ancient tales to Atticus and Dorian.
Thalassa whispered something into Evelyn’s ear.
Evelyn’s expression flickered with surprise then settled into a look of resolve. She turned
to Thalassa and said, “Okay, I got it.”
Then, Evelyn turned to Atticus and Dorian. “It’s getting late; Grandma needs to head
back.”
“Grandma, why don’t you just stay over? My bed is big enough for you.” Dorian pouted,
unhappy at the prospect of his grandmother leaving.
Evelyn’s smile was tender but held a polite distance. “This isn’t Grandma’s home, and I’m
not used to it here. It’s better if I go back.”
Atticus, the more perceptive one, noticed Evelyn’s discomfort and the deliberate distance
she kept, even with them.
Grandma wasn’t usually so formal with them.
Atticus realized it was because they were in his father’s house that Grandma felt out of
place, without a sense of home.
He said, “Then we’ll go back with Grandma.”

Chapter 1032
Evelyn’s face lit up with joy, and without any pretense of politeness, she eagerly said, “Oh
yes, please do! Grandma has a new house, and you haven’t seen it yet.”
“I want to go! I want to go! I need to get dressed to go to Grandma’s new house.” Dorian

“Alright, alright, Grandma will help you get dressed.” Evelyn replied, grinning from ear to
ear. She hurried to find clothes for the children, since it wouldn’t be proper to leave in their
pajamas.
“I’ll go change.” Thalassa said, quickly leaving the room.
Once everyone was ready, Thalassa, Evelyn, and the kids made their way to the foyer.
Fitch, noticing their unusual behavior – not ready for bed, but instead preparing to leave-
approached with concern.
“Ms. Everhart, are you heading out?” Fitch inquired.
Thalassa replied, “Fitch, I was just about to look for you. Here’s the thing: My mom isn’t
settling in well here, and she’s worried that Lysander will be upset if he finds an extra
person upon returning. She wants to go back, and the kids are insisting on going to their
grandma’s house. I’m thinking of taking all of them back now, and we’ll go straight to
school tomorrow. You can pick them up there in the afternoon.”
Fitch was not in a position to make a decision. He looked at the children, visibly torn.
