Reborn Omega: Avenge Herself Like an Alpha

Alpha Henry’s stance was firm. | knew I couldn’t change his mind-unless | revealed my Alpha-level

strength.

And that was out of the question.

Besides, this trip had already stirred the timeline more than I intended. With how things had turned

out, Alpha Henry probably wouldn’t be injured now. Once he finished transporting this last batch of

supplies, he’d be returning to Shadowmoon Pack too-just two weeks later than me.

I nodded and pushed down the unease in my heart. With Alpha Henry at my side, | walked to the

helicopter.

Professor Fray and the other wolf doctors would be staying a while longer. | was the only one

returning this time, so they’d sent a compact single-passenger helicopter. Still, everyone had come

to seeoff.

We’d researched together, faced danger together. | had becsomeone they truly cared about.

“] really don’t want to see you go.” One of the wolf doctors, seven years older than me, held my

hand tightly. “I’ve never met an omega like you. Brave, precise, meticulous-you’ve earned my

lifelong friendship.”

“Yeah, you're my friend too,” said another beta-level wolf doctor, looking atwith reluctance. “You don’t talk

much, and you always look so serious, but when you're around, | feel like everything will be okay. Like no

problem is too big to solve. | still can’t believe you're an omega.”

“So what if she’s an omega? Omegas are children of the Moon Goddess too. They're our partners.”

Old Dr. Fray let out a grunt and walked over, looking atwith kindly eyes. “Kid, | heard you're a student at

Ocean University?”

“I'am,” | nodded. “And I'd like to ask you for a favor. Please don’t mention my nwhen talking about the

breakthrough with the T-Flu antidote. I'd like to keep a low profile at school.”

Right now, Ella still hadn't fully stabilized. If word got out that an omega likehad accomplished something

this significant, it would definitely draw attention. And not the good kind. Southern wolves especially wouldn't

want a northern pack to have a medical genius of their own. They might even try to sabotage me. That would

ruin my plans.

For now, having someone like Dr. Fray in my corner was enough. His recognition mattered more than any public

praise.

When the tcame, when | stood high enough, all those doubts would collapse on their own.

Fray nodded, clearly approving. “It’s rare to find someone so young who isn’t chasing fame.”

“Don’t worry. When we get back, we old guys are taking you out for dinner. You better show up.”

1 nodded. “1 will.”

Once everyone had said their goodbyes, the helicopter’s engine roared to life, forcing them to step back.

In the whipping wind, Alpha Henry grabbed my hand and handedmy backpack. Just as | was about to climb

aboard, he held on tight, refusing to let go.

“You know what? Right now, I'm really grateful to my mom!” Alpha Henry leaned close and shouted in my

ear.

| blinked. Then he finished the thought.

“I really am her son. She always picks the best things for me.”

The words made my face heat up instantly.

Ella screamed in my head, “Oh, Moon Goddess! He’s confessing to you!”

Then, just as the wind surged around us, he leaned down and kissed me-fast and light.

The soft touch sent an electric jolt through me.

His powerful Alpha scent, mixed with the clean smell of his skin, wrapped aroundcompletely.

I looked up.

His strength, his looks, his temperament, the way he was arrogant one moment and earnest the

next, his sharp edge and his awkwardness-they all unfolded before me. Whether in this life or the

last, 1 couldn’t seem to break free from the spell this man cast over me.

As he kissedlike | was something precious, my heart tightened, like it had been caught in

someone’s palm.

I snuck in a quick lick against his lips, then smiled.

“I'll wait for you.”

Then I turned without another word and climbed into the helicopter.
