Jax’s POV

“I forgot to turn on the alarm tonight. Grandma and Grandpa's safe has a lot of valuable stuff. I'm afraid

someone might steal it.”

That's how Aubrey explained it. Right after that, my mate urged the driver to hurry. She looked especially

anxious, and that madefrown. Even when something happened to Aubrey before, she didn’t seem this

worried.

After the car turned around, everyone inside finally quieted down. | couldnt help but watch my mate’s
