Chapter 359 34% +5 If that was the case, no matter how tough it got, he wouldn't let her slip away again! No matter the struggle, he was willing to fight for her to stay by his side! Alex changed his clothes and quietly closed the bedroom door behind him. As he walked into the living room, someone outside abruptly swung open the suite's door.

Aaron was the first to enter, and his eyes immediately landed on his sister's purse sprawled across the sofa. His gaze slowly drifted toward the bedroom door, where he locked eyes with Alex, whose eyes glinted with a hint of red.

Alex remained silent, calmly buttoning up his shirt. The visible marks on his neck, trailing down to his chest, told a story that everyone could read-after all, they were adults.

"You jerk!" Aaron suddenly shouted, grabbing Alex by the collar and throwing a solid punch at him.

Alex didn't dodge or strike back. His lack of response confirmed Aaron's suspicions. Enraged, Aaron threw another punch.

"Taking advantage of someone's vulnerability? What kind of man are you?" Aaron shouted, yanking Alex's collar and pushing -him back against the living room sofa, letting loose a barrage of anger.

A crowd had gathered in the hallway, spilling into the living room, but no one dared to intervene. The faces of the Janssen family were especially strained.

Times had changed. The Thompson family was now the one everyone wanted to please. No one in the room dared to provoke the Thompson siblings-doing so would likely end poorly.

"I was drugged too!" Alex finally said, his voice desperate as he tried to explain himself amidst the flurry of fists. Aaron froze mid-punch, locked in an intense glare with Alex.

Pushing Aaron off of him, Alex stood up, leaning against the wall to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, his chest rising and falling with agitation. "Aaron, this is my room. I swear, I was really drugged!" Aaron's hands trembled as he struggled for self-control. He'd brought his sister to Jinerity and failed to protect her. This was his fault! When Alex finished speaking, his gaze shifted to the Janssen family at the door. "If we don't find out who did th done with you guys!" The Janssen couple quickly stepped forward. "We will definitely give you, the Thompson family, and ? satisfactory answer!" I'm not Grant family a At the family gathering, the Janssen family was in turmoil after multiple incidents involving the Thompson and Grant families. Meanwhile, Quinlee, who had been hiding in the back, watched everything unfold, her expression unreadable as she turned to leave.

She'd planned everything meticulously, just wanting to give Diana a dose of her own medicine. How had things spiraled out of control like this? Even though Ellie had drunk the spiked fruit wine that Diana prepared, Quinlee hadn't actually drugged Alex. What on earth had happened? Thank goodness she had made preparations; whatever inquiry was to cwouldn't trace back to her.
