Chapter 1496

She wasn't a fan of anyone messing with her peaceful life, especially someone as high-profile as Allen. If people

found out, who knows what kind of would unfold. Besides, she just wanted her school years to remain

calm and steady; everything else could wait.

“If there's an emergency, I'll get in touch immediately. Don't worry, I'll cover any medical costs and won't bother

you with unnecessary chit-chat."

“Alright.”

Fiona opened up her QR code, and they added each other as friends. She believed that turning down easy

money was just plain silly, so she wasn't about to pass up this opportunity.

In the days that followed, Allen stopped having nightmares, and life went back to normal. Thanks to Fiona's

advice, Allen started eating regularly and refused food from anyone, not even from Christina.

"From now on, no need to bringwarm milk at night," Allen said, declining the milk Christina offered with a

calm look. "It's late, you should get srest."

"Milk is good for your sleep. You shouldn't just take Ms. Fiona's word for it. Nutrition experts also recommend a

glass of milk before bed for better sleep," Christina insisted. But the next moment, the housekeeper took the

milk from her hand, and it spilled on the floor.

Allen then excused himself to get srest. He wasn't dense-Fiona's hints were clear as day. If he didn't get it,

he'd really be missing the point. He stared at the spilled milk, deep in thought, and quickly gathered it into a

sealed bag.

Before bed, he sent Fiona a message. "Ms. Fiona, | have something | need tested. Nyour price."

Fiona was on a video call with Jackson, who was busy with paperwork in his study while she lay on her bed

reading comics, throwing in the occasional joke for Jackson.

"Hey, can | grab smore comics from your study tomorrow?" she asked playfully, her cheeks slightly flushed

from lying down, but her smile was sweet. "I want the third book from the left behind you."

"This one?" Jackson pulled out a book. "I'll bring it over when | pick you up tomorrow."

The fondness in his eyes could melt anyone's heart.

"Awesome, you're the best!"

As they chatted, Fiona noticed Allen's message and simply replied, "Five thousand dollars."

Five grand wasn't cheap; getting her personal attention usually cost more than that. Fiona sent over her bank

details, and soon, a notification confirmed the deposit.

They chatted a bit more about how Allen hadn't been having nightmares lately. Fiona suggested, "I recommend

installing a mini spy camera."

Allen replied, "Okay, I'll consider it."

Whether he would install it or let things slide was up to him. Fiona's only job was to collect her fee. After all,

money was a beautiful thing! It could buy loads of delicious food and fun stuff.

The next day, as Fiona walked into the classroom, she overheard students talking about Tyler possibly being

moved to another class. With his top-notch grades, teachers feared staying in Class 19 might hote him back

because of the other less-academic students.

Having a genius was a rare thing, and every teacher from other classes was keen to scoop up that talent. Twenty

years ago, Keaton had Flora, a genius everyone envied. Who wouldn't want such bragging rights now?

"Why can't someone in Class 19 be at the top?"

The will be updated first on this website. Cback and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
