Gabriel pointed to a photo and said to Estelle, “This was when | had just taken you to the training camp. Grandpa was worried and

insisted on seeing you, so | snapped a quick picture. You were so tan and had a scrape on your face. When Grandpa saw it, he

calledimmediately and yelled at me, demanding | send you home.”

Estelle leaned over to see the photo. In it, her forehead was wrapped in a bandage, and her face was scraped up. She did look a bit

rough.

She was surprised, having no memory of such a photo ever being taken.
