Chapter 1343
Of course, Mr. Fay had his own reasons for wanting Lydia to stay close. If she moved out, how would he and
Eugene ever have a chance to nudge her back together?
"Dad, | could chevery day, or have the nutritionist cto my place and handle all my meals. Please,
just lethave a little space to clear my head," Lydia pleaded. Eventually, Mr. Fay gave in with a nod.
That night, Lydia hardly slept. The bed was comfortable, but her mind was too cluttered for any real rest.
The next morning, Nash and Nina prepared a heartfelt breakfast together, making sure to include a plate for
Lydia.

"Nina, I've been thinking since this morning. | just don't believe Quincy would cheat. There's got to be sbig
misunderstanding causing all this," Nash said as Nina was about to take the breakfast out.
In truth, Nina had the sfeeling. Lydia and Quincy had always seemed close, and it was a shthey were
going through this, especially so soon after marrying.
But she felt hesitant to interfere. "Lydia just lost a child, Nash. She's incredibly vulnerable right now. | get what
she's feeling, as a woman, so | don't think it's my place to try and change her mind."
"What if | talk to Quincy, then? | could find out what really happened and see where the misunderstandings
started. Then we'd know how to help."
"Let's hold off on calling him just yet," Nina replied, thinking it over. "I'm taking Orion to preschool tomorrow, so |
could just go with Lydia to the courthouse on the way back. If Quincy's there, | can ask him directly. Face-to-face
is better than a phone call for this kind of thing.

"l also want to see this Tiffany woman, the one who's supposedly been the other woman," Nina said frowning.
She couldn't stand the idea of someone deliberately breaking up another woman's marriage.
Nash was of course, fully on her side. "I'll go along with whatever you say, my love. And just so you know, there
will never be anyone else for me, it's only you, always has been, always will be." en
His heart had room only for Nina and their kids, Orion and Gemma who filled every corner of it. It didn't matter
how pretty or charming anyone else was, they couldn't hold a candle to Nina in his eyes.
Nina chuckled. "We've been together so long, you really think | don't know that? Now, con, let's get this

"Wait, there's one thing | need to do first," Nash said with a serious expression.
Nina braced herself, thinking he actually had something pressing to handle. But then he leaned down and kissed
her forehead. "I love you so much," he said softly.
Orion's voice suddenly echoed from the other room, "Mom, Dad, when's breakfast ready? My stomach's making
all kinds of noises!"
Nina jumped and quickly pushed Nash away, giving him a playful glare. "Be serious. The kids are right outside.
You know how fast they grow up these days. We can't let Orion catch us." "You're always right." Nash grinned,
wiping his lips with a smirk, his gaze lingering on her lips.
Those lips were soft, warm, and endlessly endearing.
Even after all this ttogether, he found himself wanting to be near Nina as much as possible.
