Chapter 460 Maleah's p.o.V.

Harvey knowswell enough to know that I will always listen to what another has to say, I will not always agree with it and I don't have to but everyone is entitled to have an opinion of their own.

"What put that smile on your face?" Pauline asks and I let them read the message Harvey send. We discuss what he might mean with that remark for the next few hours and we have cup with a few ridiculous ones, making this day end much better than it started.

The next morning we take our tto get ready and I show Delaney the dress I designed for her, her mouth opening and closing as she stares at it.

"Fuck." Delaney mutters before she starts laughing her ass off, "Dax toldsomething about you trying to convince them that their Mother was a girly girl." She says as she is trying to keep a straight face, but one look athas her laughing her ass off once again.

I tell her about the outfits Stan designed for her Mates and that Ariel is adjusting the colors to have them match with her outfit. She stops laughing as she looks up atand I see her eyes move back to the drawing of her dress, she looks at Pauline as she turns the drawing around.

Pauline stares atfor a moment before she starts laughing her ass off, she knowswell enough to know that I am not kidding.

We are still laughing as we place our bags in the SUV and I check if the house is locked down completely, just to be on the save side. Delaney and I still try to figure out what our Mates might have in store for us and Pauline deals with the Guards at the gate before we leave the enclosed community.

Fortune is curled up in the back of my head and she can't wait to be in the presence of her Mates again, we both missed them last night.

I never thought it would be this difficult to sleep without my Mates, but Fortune toldit was worse because we parted with them while we were still mad at them and if we manage to make it right again this will not happen in the future.

So if I want to have decent night sleep without my Mates by my side, I need to make sure that they never pissoff or I never piss them off. Yeah, good luck with that.

None of us will back down when we believe that we are right, so this will not be the last tthat one of us might get mad at the other. I also know that I will always listen to my Mates opinions and take them into consideration, I hope my Mates will return the favor.

Fortune is convinced that they will always listen to what I have to say, according to her I could recite the Pack rules and they would hang on every word that leaves my mouth.

I dial Harvey's number while I try one last thing to find out when this document was made, but it is a dead end as I had already suspected and when Harvey finally answers I know he is our only hope for answers.

After I tell Harvey what we found I tell him that I have been looking for the date it was created, I explain to him why we want to know that information and it takes answering a few of his questions to get him on our side.

When I ask him what he needs he tellsthat he is already in our system, "will call you when I have an answer for you and I won't telf Maleah what you found. She might start plotting a murder and we all know it won't be yours." He says just before he hangs up and know it is best if Maleah doesn't get a chance to find out about this beforehand.

After a rather restless night I take a shower before I decide to check my phone for message from Harvey and as I stand under the cascading water I wonder if Maleah slept any better than we did.

Yeah, the three of us slept in the sbed, it felt like the right thing to do and truly believe it is the only reason why we have gotten any sleep last night. I am glad we et.ne already moved a few things into our room and I grab a black pair of jeans with a white shirt from the closet, before I head down for sbreakfast.

I read through the Pack rules again as Dominic and Mack are talking about one of Maleah's rules, I don't remember reading these rules before I was initiated into the Pack and I try to remember if Dad ever mentioned an addition to the Pack rules.

I draw a blank on the subject and I link my Father to ask him if there ever had been an addition made to our Pack rules, but like the rest of us he can't recall Max ever mentioning any additions to our Pack rules.

It only takes about five minutes before Dad walks in with Mom, Zane and Myrah, Dad doesn't waste tas he askwhy I asked him that question and Dax hands him the tablet with the file.

Like everyone else our former Beta and former Gamma have no idea where these additions cfrom and while Kay shows our Mothers around we discuss the reasons why Max might have kept them a secret from all of us, but the answers we cup with only cause us to get angry. Mom asks us what we plan to do about these Pack rules and our Alphas answer in unison, "Hold a vote with all the Pack-members."

I chuckle as my Mom looks at them with a huge smile on her face and she tells them it is the best decision they could have made. She points out F that sof these rules make it impossible for someone to be a good Luna to her Pack and I send Harvey a message to check when the last addition was added to the file. As I am listening to our former

leadership talk an unsettling feeling comes overand Largo growls in Ο Π my head when I tell him what I expect Harvey to find, not something anyone will appreciate. I will wait for Harvey to confirm my suspicions before I bring this up with the others and I hope I will get those answers before the girls return, they need those answers as much as we do. Mom complements Kay on the house and soon we are discussing the interior of Maleah's office, Mom asking if we thought about both her careers.

Kay just nods his head while Mack explains that we will move everything Maleah needs into this house, that she can still pursue both careers and have every room she needs to do both her jobs.
