Chapter 459 Maleah's p.o.V.

Pauline drivesand Delaney to my safehouse in Wolfpine and Fortune feels a bit better knowing that her Mates aren't too far away. She understands why Delaney and I are mad at our Mates and she is more than willing to help us kick their asses if it comes to it, but it doesn't mean that we all of a sudden don't love our Mates anymore.

We just want them to realize that things have to change, that we will not becElyse because they are overprotective asses and I have taken care of myself my whole life. It doesn't mean I won't accept help when it is offered or when I need it from my Mates and I know Delaney feels the same.

We arrive at the enclosed community I bought a house in for victims that need sextra protection, Pauline places her hand on the scanner and a moment later the gate slowly opens.

Pauline slowly pulls up until the Guard motions her to stop, two Guards walk around the SUV to check if no one is hiding under it and Pauline gets asked to open the trunk. I chose this community because of the security measures and again I smile as I watch the Guards do their jobs, this is one of the security measures I liked.

There are also Guards that run patrols around the perimeter, just as Warriors do in a Pack and that is what madebuy the house in the end.

The house is at the back of the community, the backyard is surrounded by a small forest and I was more than willing to pay a few extra bucks to possess it. I never had to use this safehouse for anyone I rescued during my assignments and now I will enjoy it myself for almost a day, tI will use to get to know my future Luna even better.

"Maleah, Mack told Alpha Bradley that you and Delaney had a fitting session in Yarlford." Pauline says chuckling and Delaney asks if Mack is an Idiot. I explain to her that Mack knows that the safehouse in Yarlford was compromised and that he knows I would never take her there, she finally understands that Mack played Alpha Bradley.

Pauline tellsthat Harvey already send a team out there to see if Alpha Bradley would cafter me, something tellsthat he will cafterand that Mack told him we were in Yarlford with a reason.

It takesa minute to understand why Mack mentioned Yarlford, it wasn't just because he knew I would never take Delaney there, it also had to do with the fact that it is a long drive from Alpha Bradley's Pack.

He wanted to give Harvey enough tto send a team that way and he wanted to give us tto settle into whatever safehouse I chose to stay in. Despite us asking for sspace they will always try to protect us, no matter how mad we might get with one another our Mates will always keep our best interest at heart and even though I want to stay mad at them I know I can't.

My Alphas aren't Idiots, they will understand that their Mate and our Pack's Luna will never allow another Wolf or Lycan to make decisions for her ever again and they will do what they have to do to keep their Mate happy.

I show Delaney around the house we will be staying in and I tell her she can do whatever she wants to do, as long as she stays within the marked trees in the forest. Pauline joins Delaney in the backyard and I watch as both of them shift to run for a while.

I grab my bag from the floor and pull out the file Harvey prepared for me, everything I need to know on the remaining members of the Lowbane family. They will be next on my list, but not until after the Spring Ball and I want to take down the Elders and Alphas that did business with my last targets first.

I go through the file as I sit on the back porch, enjoying speace and quiet, The Lowbane family are creatures of habit and each of them has a pretty steady routine, I need to make sure someone checks those routines every now and then to see if they made any changes, not that I am expecting them to change their daily routine.

My years as an Assassin have proved it over and over again, once someone has a steady routine it is hard to break that routine and if they manage to make schanges they will always fall back into their old routines at spoint.

I never went after a target without planning it from start to end, my team always dug up every piece of information there was on my target and we would go over every possible scenato limit the problems I could run into.

After I have written down a few remarks in the file I put it in Pauline's bag, she knows what to do with it and by the tI really need it again it will be updated.

I grab my sketchbook to do a bit of drawing for a while, just to get my mind of my targets and I start working on a dress for Delaney. UnlikeDelaney is a girly girl in every sense of the word and I contact Ariel to ask if she already started on the suits for our Alphas.

I hear Ariel giggle when I tell her there is a change in the colors, after all they will have to match their Mate and not their Mother. I start to draw the dress with Delaney in mind and I make a few changes along the way, not everything seems right once I have drawn it.

Once I am done I place my sketchbook on the chair right in front of me, I lean back in my seat to look at it for a few moments and when I am satisfied with my drawing I grab another sketchbook.

I have drawn the dress in detail for Ariel and her team to make it and now I will start on my own dress. I hadn't drawn one for myself, because I hadn't planned on going to the Spring Ball and now I don't want to miss it for the world.

Not only are the most sought after males of the market, the deaths of the Dayborne Brothers and Bornshade Sisters will be the talk of the evening.

Ever since I found my Mates I have had an image in my mind, an image without color or detail and after I have drawn the outlines of the image just stare at it for aminute. I am not sure which color to choose, so will leave that for the moment and for now I will just concentrate on the details of the dress.

I make a few changes to the back of the dress, before I turn back to the front of the dress and I realize that it is perfect the way it is. Pcall Ariel again to ask her opinion about the color, she asksto give her a general description of the dress and once I am done talking Ariel tellsthe color that popped into her head.

I grab the right color pencil and start to color in my drawing, when I am done I have a huge smile on my face. Ariel got the color just right, it is perfect for this dress and I know that not many females will be wearing this color.

My attention gets drawn to my phone and I turn it to see a message from Harvey, Alpha Bradley finally showed up in Yarlford and he is asking questions about my whereabouts. He ends the message with something I don't really understand, but if he thinks he needs to tellthis I will keep it in mind. According to Harvey I should hear my Mates out next tI see them, they might surprise me.
