Checking every room as I go, but all the rooms are empty and so is the attic. "Julian, what is that?" Glenn is standing in front of a window pointing at something. As I stand next to him, I see a building outback, I grab his arm and I head back down.
Two of the Alpha's men cwith us, the building is empty. Then one of the men waves his hand at us. putting a finger to his mouth and we quietly walk over to him.
We can see a large ring on the floor and as he pulls it, we can see a stairs leading down. In the basement o the building we find about ten cages and as I look at the first two, my heart sinks.
Both She-wolves are dead and I fear for more bodies as we walk past the cages. The third cage is empty. but the three after that contain a body. One more empty cage and I can see that the one next to it holds another body. Another empty cage, the last also contains a body and for a second I think my worst fear is coming true.
But then the She-wolf lifts her head and I release a sigh of relief. Glenn looks at the woman, she stares back at him and then she sees the scares on his throat. "Are you here to kill me?" She asks and Glenn starts to shake his head. I softly tell her that we had defeated Alpha Max and that we were searching his hide-outs in hopes to find survivors.
Glenn holds out his hand and stays still until she reaches out to grab hold of it. We make our way back up and we wait inside the building for her eyes to adjust to the light.

"Alpha, in the last cage we found Nora. She is with Glen and a Pack-Doctor is checking on her, as we speak." I ask him if we can tell her that Greg is in our custody, but on our side and he givespermission to tell her, but only if she asks.

These searches are killing me, so far most of the hide-outs had been om emptied out and in saft we had were found were bodies. I am glad we have finally found Nors, at least one couple survived that Madman.
Looking at Julian, I remember the look on his face when he had first seen Nora and then relief as she had looked up. I think my mate has sexplaining to do tonight and I won't take no for an answer. "She is fine. Keep her hydrated until we can get her to the infirmary." The Pack-Doctor says. I sit down next to Nora in the car and hold out a bottle of water.
Hesitantly she reaches for it and I can tell that she is still a bit in shock. "How many survived the battle?" Nora stares at her hands as she asksthe question.
Through our mind-link I ask Julian if he can tell Nora that Greg survived. He tellshe will do that, but that Alpha Maddox will not inform Greg just yet. She finally looks up atand I motion towards Julian, he says "Greg is the only one, he is in our custody and he gave us the information on the hide-outs." And I see a sign of relief in her eyes. She starts sobbing quietly and slowly drifts off to sleep.
