Chapter 527
Knox had never seen Julie before in his life. He also didn't know where she had gotten the courage and audacity
from to go against him.
Julie marched in swiftly in her three-inch stilettos, with her nose up arrogantly in the air. Her eyes were filled with
disdain and contempt, perfectly portraying the image of a wealthy princess from Creybia looking down at the
poor, downtrodden small-towners.
"Ms. Monroe."
"Good afternoon, Ms. Monroe."
The employees of Caldwell Antiques greeted Julie respectfully as she marched in.
Julie approached them, her attitude high and mighty as she conveniently ignored those who had greeted her.
Knox looked at Julie with an amused expression and sneered, "Are you here to stand up for Edna?"
"That's right." Julie nodded and replied to Knox with utmost confidence.

"There are consequences to pay for standing up for others without a care, little girl."
Knox completely disregarded Julie. In Riverdale, he had never been afraid of anyone else other than Vic and
Yolanda. Not many people would dare cross him.
"Before you look for trouble, you'd better do your research beforehand to know who backs this shop." Julie
scorned coldly.
"Since you've already made things clear, Mr. Seinfield, | won't beat around the bush anymore. I'll tell you directly.
Caldwell Antiques and Edna are under my care.
"Your identity has nothing against me. Of course, right now, | can't do anything to you either, so let's not waste
more time.
"Your father, Vic, might have a lot of influence here in Riverdale, but I'm not without support as well. His position
is higher than your father's."
"What arrogant bullshit." Knox clapped slowly as the amusement in his eyes heightened.
"No one has dared to be so rowdy on my turf. Since you said you're of a substantial background with powerful
support, pray tell. Who supports you?
"I'd like to be awed."
Knox ordered his bodyguards to take a picture of Julie and send it to the people at Doxcon Group to find out who
she was.
Julie wasn't opposed to what Knox was doing. She scoffed coldly as she announced her identity.
"lI am Julie Monroe, the general manager of Azure Ridge Culture."
"Is that all?" Knox cocked his eyebrow mockingly.
"You're in no position to stand up for Edna. You're in no position to go up against me."
Knox waved the baseball bat in his hands nonchalantly as he sneered.
"Even if | wanted to trash this shop, you're in no position to stop me."
"Hah, I'm guessing you don't know who the main shareholder of Azure Ridge Culture is, right?" Julie was still very
overbearing.
"Have you heard of Evergreen Group and Creybia's Famous Four, then? Caldwell Antiques and Azure Ridge Group
are supported by Evergreen Group, which belongs to Mr. Caldwell's family. What do you have to say for yourself
now?"
After hearing Julie, the looks on the bystanders’ faces changed.
They had all heard of the Creybia's Famous Four and Evergreen Group. No matter how powerful Vic was in
Riverdale, it was still a third-line city. It was a little difficult for him to compete with the families of Creybia.
Now they understood why Edna could remain cocky in the face of Knox's accusations. With Boris on her side, she
already had all the support she would ever need,
Knox had power in Riverdale City, so it would be easy to teach Edna a lesson. But if Edna's support was the
Caldwell family, that would be a huge problem.
Yolanda finally understood why Joel had faced so many issues investigating Edna and Caldwell Antiques, and how
Edna was about to stand her ground arrogantly when faced with Knox.
With the Caldwells as her support, she had more than enough power given to her to go up against Knox.
"The Caldwell family? Mr. Caldwell?" Knox pondered for a while before he asked.
