Chapter 528
"The Boris Caldwell of Creybia's Famous Four?" Knox asked.
"Looks like you're not as stupid as | thought." Julie chuckled. "Since you know who Mr. Caldwell is, you should
now understand who owns Caldwell Antiques, right?
"Did you think about the consequences of bringing your men in here to destroy Mr. Caldwell's shop?"
The more Julie spoke, the more brazen she was. She felt satisfied, like she had already stomped Knox deep into
the ground. Her voice got more shrill.
"Even if it comes to your father, | don't think he would let himself go without a thought like this."
Edna, who was standing beside Julie, felt like she had gotten the support she needed and looked gloatingly at
Knox. Her expression said, "Hah! You can't touch me."
"So what if the shop belongs to Mr. Caldwell?" Knox's expression darkened.
"I'm not just here with my men for fun and games. I've now understood that you had fully intended to harm me,
so why can't | defend myself for that?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"I've explained to you previously, Mr. Knox. | knew nothing about the bracelet beforehand. If you refuse to
believe me, | can't do anything about it."
Edna was still arguing. As long as she insisted that she didn't know about it, Knox had no evidence to pin the
poisoning attempt on her.
"In reality, both of us have misjudged the bracelet, thinking that it was something good when it was actually a
dupe. Now that our transaction is done and dusted, you shouldn't have any more reasons to wreak havoc in my
shop."
"Stop playing word games with me. Did you really think I'd just let you go?" Knox's patience was at its limits.
"Mr. Knox, you're a capable man. Of course, you could do something to me, but before you do, you have to think
about the consequences first," Edna said with a smile.
"To cross Mr. Caldwell for a mere five million dollar bracelet isn't a fair trade now, is it?"
"Have | no choice but to admit defeat?" Knox's eyes gleamed coldly.
"Of course, you can choose to destroy the shop as well..." Julie smirked mockingly. "As long as you're able to
bear the consequences of crossing Mr. Caldwell."
"| hate people who are more arrogant than me." Viciousness gleamed in Knox's eyes.
"It doesn't matter what you don't like. You're not as capable as Mr. Caldwell, so you'd better behave." Julie
enunciated each word slowly and mockingly.
"Do it!" Knox barked to his bodyguards. "There's no such thing as holding it in in my books! I'll have this antiques
shop trashed today!"
He needed to release his anger somewhere, even if it meant that he had to bear the consequences after that.
"Wait." Just as Knox's bodyguards were about to destroy the shop, a voice rang out from behind him.
Yolanda walked out from the crowd and told Knox, who was flabbergasted, "If you trash this shop, you might be
able to let off ssteam, but in the end, you'll have to pay for the damages.
"It's not worth it."
Caldwell Antiques had great support. If Knox destroyed the shop, the Caldwells would pressure Vic to ensure
Knox paid for the damages. Having to apologize in person would be inevitable as well.
When that tcame, Edna, Julie, and the rest would mock and tease Knox even
more.
"Yolanda?" It was only then that Julie and Edna had noticed her presence.
