Chapter 1277 Seeing her mother’s demeanor, Thalassa realized that Callum’s earlier remark was directed at Lysander. She quickly forked ssalmon onto Lysander’s plate, chuckling awkwardly, “Here, try this. | think it’s quite tasty too.” After speaking, she caught Lysander’s leisurely, converging gaze.
Thalassa’s smile froze as she averted her eyes and bowed her head, focusing on her oatmeal.
What did it have to do with her? Wasn't it him who said it was tasty? In her panic, Thalassa ate too quickly and almost choked on a grain of oatmeal that caught in her throat and she coughed violently.
Lysander, who had been brooding just moments before, looked at her with sudden concern and patted her back, scolding gently, “Can’t you eat a bit slower?” After several coughs, Thalassa finally caught her breath, glared at Lysander and retorted, “If you weren't so intimidating, | wouldn't have had to rush.” Lysander’s brows furrowed slightly, “Did | say anything to scare you like that?” Thalassa exhaled, “It's when you say nothing at all that’s the scariest.” “Where were you planning to go for fun today?” Lysander suddenly asked.
Thalassa was momentarily confused by his leap in conversation.

Unexpectedly, two more people joined.

However, there was only one boat left.

Thalassa didn’t mind, but she worried about Lysander’s willingness.
“Evelyn, givea hand, let's get on the boat first,” Callum said, leaning on his cane and making his way onto the boat.
“Easy, I've got you,” Evelyn hurried over to assist Callum onto the boat, where they both took their seats.
The boat was small, fitting a maximum of four people.

Once seated, Callum glanced provocatively at Lysander. “Mr. Sinclair, I'm afraid this rickety boat might not be able to accommodate your grand stature.” Into Hearing this, Thalassa’s heart leapt into her throat, and she quickly suggested to head ban Lysander, “Why don’t you the hotel? We'll just take a quick tour on the boat and have a walk around before going back.” Thalassa felt that with Lysander present, they could hardly enjoy anything.
It would be best if Lysander left.
Lysander glanced at her with his deep, cool eyes, an intimidating presence about him, “Who said I'm going back?” With that, he strode forward, boarded the boat and took his seat on the opposite side.
Thalassa stood on the shore, stunned.
“Aren't you coming?” Lysander’s cold voice snapped Thalassa out of her daze.
She hurriedly stepped onto the boat.
