Chapter 144

Eloise drove herself hto dodge his pursuit.

Her sudden return surprised and delighted Angus and Michelle.

Welcoming Eloise with a smile, Michelle led her inside, saying, "Your dad was just saying how much he missed

you, and here you are. You two really do have a mind of your own!"

Eloise put down the fruits she was holding and went to Angus.

They had a chat for a while.

Suddenly, Michelle's voice cfrom the kitchen, "Eloise, could you givea hand?"

Eloise agreed with a smile. But as soon as she walked into the kitchen, Michelle closed the door.

"Michelle, what's up?" Eloise was puzzled.

Michelle pulled her to the window, pointing downstairs, "Isn't that Attorney Horigan's car? It's been parked for a

while now. What happened? Did you two fight or break up?"

Eloise didn't expect Harvey to follow her here. She casually washed sstrawberries. "We broke up!"

At this time, Harvey got out of the car, holding a gift box, looking as if he was going to pay a visit.

But Angus already cover, opened the door, and saw a handsyoung man grappling with his precious

daughter.

Angus was a bit annoyed.

Harvey immediately becpolite. He politely said, "Hello Angus! I'm your attorney, Harvey, and also Eloise's

boyfriend."

Angus immediately took a liking to him.

He looked at Eloise, "Why are you making Attorney Horigan stand outside?"

He chuckled, "My daughter lacks manners. Please bear with her."

Harvey's voice was slightly hoarse, "Don't you know how to kiss anymore? Eloise, relax, letkiss you."

Eloise's neck stiffened. Her hands clenched into fists, pounding on his shoulder. "Harvey, you're such a jerk!"

"Keep quiet! The jerk's about to kiss you."

The situation was too tense.

Her parents were just on the other side of the wall. If she made the slightest

noise, Angus and Michelle would know what they were doing.

Eloise's fists were clenched tight on his shoulder.

Harvey held her waist, caressing her.

his kiss but she felt ashamed.

whispered, "Your body obviously reacts to me. Why won't you be with me?"

He gently kissed her, trying to stir up her passion.
