Lorrie had a motive, but why would she kill Jasmine and not target Chester? Chester was Richard's child, so she wouldn't want the child to exist.

Wayne didn't know what had happened but was relieved now that the issue was/resolved. "Why do you still look so worried then?"
"Because we can't find a way to make the killer pay," Peark said determined to fulfill her promise to Chester.
