Chapter 179 ### Foster Manor Claire gently set down her embroidery needle and released a long, satisfied sigh.
The piece, titled *Radiant Beauty*, was finally complete in all its splendor.
She rubbed her slightly sore eyes and gazed at the vibrant peonies adorning the fabric, her heart swelling with a sense of accomplishment.
She had poured her heart into this creation, confident that her grandmother would cherish it.
Claire slowly stood up, her legs numb from sitting too long. She stumbled slightly, but managed to steady herself on the table.

The morning sun filtered through the half-open curtains, casting a soft, golden glow on Claire's pale face.
She squinted slightly, soaking in the warmth, and felt as if sof her fatigue was melting away. Stretching with a satisfying yawn, she heard her joints crackle in mild protest of the night's exertion. Carefully, she rolled up the embroidery and placed it in the gift box she had prepared.
Sean had specially chosen the box, its intricate floral engravings perfectly complementing *Radiant Beauty*.
As she emerged with the gift, she spotted a tall man in a sharp black suit.
Assuming it was Sean, she was surprised when he turned to reveal Liam instead.
Liam's face broke into a smile upon seeing Claire. "Ms. Linwood, you've been working hard." Startled, Claire asked, "Liam, what brings you here?" He stepped forward swiftly, taking the gift box from her and placing it gently on a nearby table.
"Since we weren't sure when you'd finish, the boss has already escorted your grandmother to the banquet hall." Claire nodded slightly, acknowledging that her grandmother's birthday celebration wouldn't be the swithout the family hosting.
Glancing at the clock on the living room wall, she saw it was already ten o'clock. Feeling a bit self-conscious, she said, "Liam, givea moment to freshen up." She was aware of her disheveled appearance and felt it inappropriate to attend the party looking so worn.
To her surprise, Liam snapped his fingers, and a team of stylists entered, each carrying makeup kits.
"Ms. Linwood, the boss has already arranged for a stylist. You'll be ready in half an hour and make it to the banquet hall by eleven." Turning to the stylist, he instructed, "Andie, Ms. Linwood is in your hands." Andie, the stylist, was flamboyantly dressed, and he eyed Claire critically.
Folding his arms with a flourish, he remarked disdainfully, "I can't for the life ofunderstand what a manly man like Sean sees in someone so scrawny." Claire was taken aback.

He continued, "Your skin's dry, you look exhausted, and oh my! Look at those chapped lips. Are you sure you're a girl? You've got less femininity than I do." Claire was left speechless. Liam's eyes twitched, and he sternly said, "Andie, if you don't want this job, just say so." "Alright, alright, I'll stop," Andie relented, rolling his eyes tically as if Claire were his adversary.
Claire glanced skeptically at Liam.
He reassured her with a calming look, silently mouthing: Don't worry! This guy is hostile to any woman close to the boss, not just you. Claire understood instantly.
She flashed Andie a bright smile. "Thank you for your help, Ms. Andie." With that, Andie began orchestrating Claire's transformation.
Starting with makeup pads, he gently wiped Claire's face, evening out her skin tone, dulled by the sleepless night.
He then picked up foundation, applying it with a sponge in a thim layer that perfectly masked her dark circles and weary lines, leaving her skin looking smooth and radiant.
