Chapter 474 So What if He Cares or Not?

"Why are they still pestering you?"

Sasha said indifferently, "What do you think? They think that I grabbed her son's money. Besides,

during my three years with the Lumis family, I was forced to live a life without dignity. And in the end?"

She thought, Jeremy had countless lovers, while I had no one but myself. Meanwhile, Sonya bullied me

every day.

"It's going to be all right."

"The Peters family doesn't mind that I am a divorced woman, and to be frank, I have never felt inferior

because of this."

Yet Zeke was an exception.

After Damian finished talking about business and went downstairs to find them, Sasha suddenly

proposed to go to Zeke.

He was stunned for a second, but he did not say no.

"Let's go."

When Zeke was brought over by the prison guard, Damian and Sasha were both sitting in front of the

glass window.

He saw the rings on their fingers and said coldly.

"Bitchy couple."

Damian immediately pulled a long face.

Yet Sasha smiled indifferently.

"We are about to get married," she said gracefully.

She slowly opened an invitation and held it in front of the window. "You can't attend anyway. So, just

watch it," she said slowly. "There will be videos of the wedding. If you are interested, I'll have someone

send them to you."

Zeke's face turned livid.

"Sasha, you are so proud, aren't you?" Zeke sneered. "Does your fiancé know that you had an

abortion?"

"Zeke, how dare you?" Damian couldn't take it anymore.

"What is it? This is harsh for you already?" Zeke shrugged. "I'll end up

like this anyway. Why should I give a damn about you?"

"Do you think you'll end up just like that? Well, think again," Damian sneered.

Zeke's smile stiffened.

"The evidence against you has still been collected, and you got lucky in the last trial because we

allowed you to be."

"I don't know what you are saying."

"As long as I want to, you will stay inside for longer. I wonder if your mother can wait long enough until

you get out," Damian said with a half- smile.

"Damian, how dare you!"

Zeke stood up with excitement but was pressed down by the two prison guards.

Sasha looked at Zeke's discomfited appearance coldly with a faint thrill of revenge in her heart.

"Zeke, do you know that you've made a mistake now?"

Her question caught him off guard. Zeke narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"Sasha, are you nuts?"

"I was nuts before." Sasha nodded. "But not anymore."

Her fingers were intertwined with Damian's, and such a scene was

extremely harsh to Zeke.

"Sasha, don't be such a bitch. I will definitely find a chance to get back at you when I go out. Just wait,"

Zeke said coldly.

"Sure. I will wait."

Sasha said calmly, making Zeke feel that she was so indifferent, and his

threat didn't work at all.

Zeke had nowhere to vent the anger in his heart.

"Alright, let's go."

Damian held Sasha's hand tightly and looked very unhappy.

After he and Sasha left, there was still no smile on his face.

"What's wrong? Why are you so unhappy?" Sasha said briskly.

"I loathe him so much. If he dares to do anything to you, he will be a dead

man," he said gloomily.

"Don't worry about him. It has been a long time since I stopped giving a

damn about him."

"It seems to me that he cares about you a lot."

Damian and Zeke were both men, and Damian could clearly sense Zeke's

unwillingness.

Damian thought, I know so well that Zeke still wants something to do

with Sasha.

"So what if he cares or not?"

Sasha lifted her hair coldly and pulled Damian over.

"The only one I care about is you."

Her few words made Damian blush.

"We are already married, yet you still blush so easily?"

He coughed. "Ahem... Stop messing around."

"You call this messing around?"

"Let's talk after we get back."

Damian looked so shy.

They had just left the prison when Isobel entered Alexa's office.

Unlike before, Isobel was like an entirely different person, and she

showed up with lots of expensive gifts.

"Alexa, I was wrong. Please..."

Alexa raised her eyes and glanced at Isobel, not in a hurry to say anything.

Isobel's eyes were soon filled with tears.

"He is my only son. Even if he made a mistake before, he has already been

punished."

"Punished? He has only served two months. He's not even done a tenth of

his sentence."

"Sasha is married now, isn't she? She seems pretty happy to me," Isobel

said with a sullen face.

"She went to visit Zeke with Damian today. Well, that doesn't mean she

intends to forgive Zeke," Alexa said calmly.

Isobel's heart sank.

"You are looking for the rat in the Duran Group, aren't you? I can offer

you information if you're willing to pay for it."

"Is it related to Nina?"

Alexa nimbly caught the astonishment in Isobel's eyes.

"How much do you think your information is worth? Besides, I don't trust

you at all." Alexa's attitude was cold.

She did not treat Isobel with any respect, and the latter had already pulled

an extremely livid face.

When Isobel went out dejectedly, she happened to bump into Rebekah.

"You are here to pester Alexa again?"

Rebekah's voice was not loud, but the secretaries present heard her loud

and clear.

Isobel used to be a tyrant who bossed around the Duran Group, and no

one in the company liked her.

"She is my niece. Do I need your permission to come to see her? You are

an outsider."

"An outsider?"

Rebekah sneered and sized Isobel up in a calm manner.

"You lost all your money in gambling, and now you come to Alexa for

more? Who gave you, an outsider, the nerve to do so?" Rebekah mocked

sarcastically, to the point.

"You..."

Isobel was so furious that she couldn't utter a word.

"Rebekah."

Alexa greeted Rebekah with a smile and held Rebekah's arm intimately.

"Alexa," Rebekah smiled kindly. "Maybe you should strengthen the

Duran Group's security. If anyone can waltz their way in here, I'll be

worried."

"OK. I will talk to the Logistics Department about this."

Alexa took Rebekah into the lounge.

"I had the kitchen to make soup for you and bring it over. Terrence says

you've been working hard all this time," Rebekah said, feeling distressed.

"I have had a lot of clients to deal with recently. It'll be fine after these

days."

"Alright."

Rebekah nodded, feeling relieved. She regarded Alexa as closer to her biological daughter.

"There will always be work. You should always prioritize yourself."

Alexa took a sip of the soup and smiled.

"Rebekah, you made this yourself, didn't you? Only you can fix this."

"All I can do is such trivial matters. I'm just glad that you enjoyed it."

After Rebekah finished speaking, she suddenly remembered something else.

"Did Cory make things difficult for you when he came to you that day?" "No." Alexa did not want her to

worry. "Terrence came back in time."

"It must never happen again."

Rebekah was afraid just to think about it.
