phone, Alexander had followed her to the seafood restaurant to make sure that she was safe. Then, he watched
Rose and her shop for two hours. But something about this store made him on edge. He couldn't explain why.
There was also a nagging feeling like he shouldn't be here. He couldn't explain that either.
“Do
you wantto go check it out?” Gai offered, noticing her boss's nervous expression.
“No,” Alexander said. “Let's wait. I'm sure everything is fine.”
About thirty minutes later, Rose and Olivia walked out of Evening Bloom. They were carrying a lot more shopping
bags than what they entered the store with. They were also talking and laughing with a beautiful woman who
worked at the shop. The two women seemed much happier and more relaxed than when they cinto the
store- especially Olivia. Her body seemed less tense, and her eyes were shining with excitement.
Alexander studied the bags in Olivia's hand, curious to know what she had spent all that tpurchasing.
After they said goodbye to the shop’s owner, Ava and Olivia hugged and went their separate ways. Olivia
retrieved her car from the valet and drove away,
“Not knowing what they bought is going to eat away at you,” Gai said wisely. “You should just go in the store and
check out what they sell.”

“You're right,” Alexander agreed and clicked his seatbelt and left the

Gai took off her seatbelt, but her shoulders slumped when the beautiful employee put a closed sign on the door,
shut off the light, and locked the door.
“Damn,” Gai said. “There goes that plan. Don’t think about it too much, though.” She started the car and pulled
into the busy street. “I bet it’s just a store that sells skincare or perfume, or something like that.”
“Yeah...” Alexander said, but he couldn't help but turn around and look at Evening Bloom as curiosity still flowed
through him.
Back at her apartment, Olivia put away all her new purchases. She purposely saved the Evening Bloom package
for last. Finally, she couldn't put it off any longer.
She took out the new toy she bought out of the light pink package. It felt like it was a million degrees in her
hands as she handled the new vibrator. It was white with dark pink controls. She plugged it in to charge it, then
took the instruction manual out of the box. She sat on her bed as she blushed and read the instructions.
As she turned the page in the manual, somebody knocked on her door. Olivia nearly jumped out of her skin. She
dropped the manual on the floor as her heart slammed against her chest. With shaking hands, she shoved
everything from Evening Bloom, including the toy under bed. Then, she smoothed down her hair and hurried to
answer the door.
