Before attacking, Jake wondered where he would hide if he had the chance to fight inside a gigantic robot. Considering that the enemy could have magic circuits where the liquid mana passed through before being used, it couldn't be in a random place. It also had been the safest and hardest to destroy… the torso was that part, but were in the torso?
Jake found his answer when he recalled the ordinary iron golems. Their interior was empty, but only the middle of their torso had enough room for someone to fit in there; he assumed that they were prototypes of the final armor…
In the end, Jake's guess wasn't wrong. He summoned his extra powerful dark flames to the point of his sword and then jumped after kicking the ground with all his might. He passed through the torso of the iron golem and also cut through the cabin where the dungeon master was. Still, he didn't have time to see the enemy. Once he landed on the other side, Jake fell on the ground while his nose was bleeding a dark red liquid…
Jake didn't know if it was a bad sign, but he woke up thanks to that headache, and he quickly got used to it. Regardless, he was lying on the ground and got up, only to see that he still was in that world.
"Sorry for letting the situation end up like that," Myrna said, and then Jake turned around and realized that the prisoners were slowly waking up. "Still, I am glad that you look fine."
"Yeah… while the enemy is gone, I don't think that It is a good idea to stay for long," Jake said and then tried to get up only to see the world spinning.
"You didn't suffer lethal damage, but it seems that your mind is at the limit. You should lay down for a while," Myrna said. "We are still checking the enemy hideout, and it will take a while to get everything sorted out… in the end, that guy truly was a parasite."
Jake only learned the meaning of those words when he found the dungeon master. He was a tall humanoid man, but he was extremely thin, and he had some long fangs and extremely long limbs. He also looked like someone who didn't enjoy much sunlight. His skin was a lifeless gray, and he didn't have any hair on his body.
"He is from a species that I never saw. Still, it is clear that he built a lot of those robots," Myrna said. "There is a massive lab underground, and I am pretty sure it is a spaceship as well."
"That is…" Jake said while frowning. "I suppose he isn't from here then… sealing the place should also be the best option."
Speaking of the enemy, Jake had to confirm if he had dropped anything. No items… still, it looked like the enemy had a shit ton of coins. Jake's wallet increased by two million…

"Well, this isn't really our problem," Jake shrugged. "Regardless, you should go and help your friends to make them return as soon as possible. I will rest for a bit, and as promised, I will look for the loot that I want."
"You will probably like the things that you will find. He has quite the warehouse down there," Myrna said. "You don't look like you have much room to carry the mana liquid that he stored, so we'll take it with us. Ah… I have to teach you how to learn Zenith."
So many things had happened that Jake had forgotten about it. Still, learning that was better than wasting time resting.
"You have enough mental strength to control those flames beyond their limits, so this should be easy for you," Myrna said.
To enter the Zenith stage, one had to completely dominate Meditation, to the point that they had to stop thinking the very moment they decided to do so. To completely master the technique, they also have to be able to almost revive some of their memories completely. That was how Myrna and her people could check the memories of their souls. There was no trick behind it. The user had to force their minds to obey their wills… it was almost like putting commands into their brains.
"The first steps are simple, to control your mind, you also have to control your senses," Myrna said. "Once you are able to seal them at will, stopping thinking will be a lot easier. By sealing some of them, you can also improve others like your eyesight, hearing, taste… This technique has many utilities, and they go beyond the ordinary combat use. Also…"
It was rude to show a fed-up expression when someone was teaching him something new. Still, Myrna was getting too into the lesson, and she spent several minutes saying random things instead of letting Jake focus.
Regardless, just like Myrna said, he didn't have much of a hard time controlling his focus. While he started slowly, he managed to seal his senses one after the other, and he managed to feel like he was connected to the environment in a different way.
The second stage was what Jake had a hard time dealing with since he didn't like most of the memories of his past beyond a certain point. So, his mind instinctively tried to stop him. Still, Jake forced himself to do that… now that his mind was so sharp, he could basically recall the beginning of most of his memories after he turned fifteen.
Jake tried to go further into the past to find the answers that he wanted as soon as possible, but it looked like he had to at least see the beginning of his most recent ones. Before that… he was forced to see his last years in middle school while people made fun of him because of his name. He was forced to see the time when he returned at home and saw his father looking at him like he was a piece of garbage… the worst part of those memories were the times that Jake felt and acted like all that was normal. He truly hated that past version of him…
His older memories weren't much different. He only saw his father drinking more while staring at Jake's mother's photograph and then punching him whenever he had a reason to do so. Even when he was a kid, Jake couldn't screw up in any sense since that would give his father the chance to punch him.
Jake always wondered why that guy kept raising him in that stupid way… wouldn't have been better just to abandon him in an orphanage or something? Or was he such a piece of shit that he wanted to remind him as much as possible of the reason why he was hated and the reason for his name? Regardless of the first chance that he had, Jake cut all ties with such a person and started to live his own life.
Regardless, it reached a point where Jake saw that his father wasn't always like that. Up to a point, he raised him properly, and he acted like he even regretted the name that he had given him and the intentions that he had at the time. Still, he became like that when Jake grew to be a healthy and happy kid.
After seeing those things time and time again, Jake finally managed to see the earliest memory of his life. When he was just a newborn baby and couldn't see anything aside from shadows, he heard some cries of pain and the strong scent of blood… after a while, he heard the cries of despair of his father, who refused to believe what had happened… Jake's mother died after his birth.
