As soon as she turned the corner, Alex headed back to the car. The window rolled down to reveal Vincent's face.
"I've given Tiffany the gift per your instructions, sir," Alex said. "But... why didn't you give it to her yourself?" He couldn't understand it. Wouldn't it be a waste of Vincent's tand effort to give Tiffany something so expensive under Alex's name? Vincent frowned. "I was worried she wouldn't accept it." Alex was taken aback. Countless people would've killed to get a gift from Vincent. Yet here he was, worried Tiffany wouldn't accept it.

The first showed an exquisitely wrapped gift box that had yet to be unboxed The second showed the unboxed gift. Inside was an expensive skincare set identical to the one Tiffany held.
Vincent had obviously prepared two of the sgifts. Tiffany bit her lip, feeling a little distressed.
There was no way she would accept the gift. And so she placed it on Vincent's desk after returning to his office. He would understand that she was turning the gift down.
Still, she spent the rest of the day distracted by this incident.
In the evening, Elis suddenly called her to say she was in the hospital. She asked whether Tiffany could drop by for a while.
