Transmigration: Raising the Child of the Male Lead Boss (WN)
Chapter ex9: Extras 9.1“Miss Ling, you have to come to the police station with us.”
At the door of a small duplex, the police rang the doorbell. After the door was opened, the young policeman quickly blocked the door with one foot when the other party wanted to shut in a panic.
“You… police, you came to the wrong person!”
It was none other than Ling Shuang who opened the door. Her figure had returned to normal, and her face was akin to an internet celebrity who had undergone plastic surgery. Although she looked beautiful at first glance, upon close up, she looked a bit scary.
The police remained. “You are suspected of illegally stalking others and infringing on another person’s privacy.”
“I didn’t!” Ling Shuang screamed. “Who is saying this nonsense!?”

That sentence alone frightened the timid Ling Shuang and she anxiously went with them.
At the police station, the police pulled up a video that made Ling Shuang sweat. At the back door of the cinema for the premiere of ‘Seven Years’, there was a group of fierce-looking, muscular men with tattooed arms, smoking cigarettes. This group of people were spotted again at the maternity hospital where Yu Yaoyao was admitted.
“What’s your relationship with them?” The male policeman asked sharply.
“No relationship! I don’t know them!” Ling Shuang shook her head frantically, but her heart felt like it sunk into an ice hole.
The male policeman smiled contemptuously. Then, he clicked the mouse a few times and found the other end of the CCTV. “In this current age, there are HD cameras along the roads,” he said. “Think about it carefully, and then answer.”
The recording was indeed in high definition. Even when Ling Shuang was under the guise of a hat, mask and sunglasses, it was crystal clear.
“It’s not me…” she denied. Ling Shuang’s voice trembled a little.
The male policeman laughed again. “Seems like you won’t admit your doing until all the evidence is shown. You’re not the person in this shirt? Where were you that day?”
“I was at home!” Ling Shuang shouted, wringing her hands.
The male policeman smiled and brought up another surveillance camera. It was the scene where Ling Shuang walked out of the gate of the community. Although she was completely covered, she was still captured by the camera at the intersection.
“Miss, we live in a high-tech society. Please tell the truth.”
Ling Shuang’s body was cold, and she couldn’t stop shaking. It was obviously summer, but she seemed to have fallen into a bottomless pit that was excruciatingly icy and biting!
“Hurry up and explain the situation. Don’t waste our time. It’s useless,” the police said again.

Why was she so unlucky?
Why?!
She was exposed by Yu Yaoyao, lost Chen Jiao’s protection, and finally, forced out of the entertainment industry by him and Shen Yichong. Even though the industry was big, there had been no place for her. She desperately tried to lose weight frantically and used all her savings for plastic surgery… when all that was done, she hooked up with an elderly coal mine owner. The price given by the other party was very high. As long as she was obedient, she would not lack anything. The money would even be enough for her to… find some people and do something daring.
Ling Shuang was beyond upset. She cursed her bad luck. ‘Why does Yu Yaoyao get everything?’ she thought, indignant. ‘Why does Yu Yaoyao get Shen Yichong even though she’s only a talentless beauty?!’
“It wasn’t like this in the previous life…. She and Shen Yichong divorced. That child, Shen Rui, was dead! She was paralyzed in the hospital; it’s impossible to give birth to a second child. This child didn’t exist at all!” she screamed maniacally.
Little Sweetheart? Impossible!
“I’m not wrong! I just continued how things should have been!” she wailed. “I am right!!” Ling Shuang’s face that had undergone too much plastic surgery distorted as she spoke furiously.
The young male policeman frowned and looked at her. “Are you mentally ill? Have you ever seen a doctor?”
