Chapter 615 A Nightmare
Jenny understood that reasoning. "Have you found out what happened to him? Has he appeared at Faust Group
these two days?" "No," Zack replied.
Jenny was now certain that something had happened to Alec. But if something really did, why would Vincent and
Old Mr. Faust lie to her? Were they afraid that she would leak it out?
She had no time to think about that. Jenny ended her call with Zack and immediately went to book a plane ticket to
Parrington. But it was already late; the next flight was in the morning. She was feeling very antsy.
The next day, Jenny and Graham both took days off. Although she knew it wasn't nice of her to take the day off
when she hadn't been working for some time, she was lucky that she was in the sales department and had just
bagged another client. She had more freedom in that sense.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJenny boarded the plane to Parrington. On the way there, she had a dream.
A nightmare, really.
It haunted her even after she woke up.
It was only a two-hour flight to Parrington, but they were the longest hours of Jenny's life. She stared at the white
clouds as if that was the only way to calm herself down.
The moment Jenny got off the plane, she rushed toward Faust Group. However, she didn't enter.
If Vincent and Old Mr. Faust had chosen not to tell her about something happening to Alec, they didn't want her
coming back. They were probably worried that her appearance would make people suspicious.
She put on a cap and a mask. She even put on some sunshades and waited outside the company. When Vincent
walked out, she hurried after him.
Vincent quickly noticed that he was being followed, and his face darkened. He walked into an alley. He wouldn't hold
back since someone was setting out to bother him.
Jenny saw through his thoughts at once, but she still moved forward. There were a lot of things that only Vincent
could tell her.
The moment Jenny walked into the alley, a strong force was thrown at her, but it was nothing to her. She was
prepared. Besides, Vincent was no match for her.
Vincent didn't think that his stalker would have such good martial skills. His glare grew somber. "Who are you? What
do you want?"
Jenny was too anxious to be playing around with him and wasting time. She took off her cap and her mask. "It's
me."
"Miss Jenny?" Vincent couldn't believe it. He thought he was dreaming.
"What on earth happened to Alec?" Jenny asked worriedly. She didn't have the time to explain.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmVincent returned to his senses and understood that she was there for Alec. He briefly considered things before
saying, "Miss Jenny, put on your hat and mask again, and I'll tell you when we get there."
Jenny didn't refuse. She followed him into the car.
Soon, they reached the hospital. Jenny was bewildered. She thought that Alec was hospitalized. Then, Vincent
brought her into one of the wards.
The one lying on the bed was not Alec. It was Old Mr. Faust.
"Vincent, who's this?" Old Mr. Faust frowned at once when he saw him coming in with such a peculiarly-dressed
person.
Jenny took off her disguise. "It's me, Grandpa."
"Jenny?" Old Mr. Faust was shocked. "Why are you back?"
"You wouldn't tell me what happened to Alec. Of course, I'd come back." She didn't think that there was any wrong
with that. No one would be able to tell who she was, anyway. It wouldn't bring much trouble to Vincent and Old Mr.
Faust.
