Chapter 512 Alec Is a Small Fry
Jade nodded when she heard Jenny’s words. She thought that they made sense. “That’s true. The Walters are part
of the Ten Elites. Those people would be afraid of them. They probably wouldn’t go against you.”
“It’s settled then.” Jenny had made her decision. “The only thing you guys have to do in Bardoff City for these few
days is to look for an office complex for Jeneration Group.”
She could do it herself, but she had to take care of things in the Walter family. She simply didn’t have the time.
“No problem.” Jade nodded.
Jenny took two agreements out of her bag and placed them on the table. “These are the two companies that are
now under my name. Take them and place them under Jeneration Group.”

part of even these industries.”
“Of course. These are money-making businesses. Why wouldn’t I do it?” Jenny smiled. She wasn’t taken seriously
yet. She’d have to be one step ahead of everyone else.
They put the agreements away. Jenny looked at Alfred, who hadn’t said a word since he arrived. His thoughts were
unreadable.
“Please get me a cup of coffee, Jade,” Jenny said.
Jade was about to tell her to get the waitress, but then she saw Jenny’s gaze on Alfred. She understood immediately
and got up. “Alright.”
After she left, Jenny smiled at Alfred and asked, “You haven’t said anything since you got down the flight. Penny for
your thoughts?”
Since she was being direct, Alfred didn’t beat around the bush. “You probably already know of my identity. Why are
you still keeping me?”
Not only was she keeping him, but she was also involving him in huge company matters as if she wanted him to
take responsibility. Alfred couldn’t figure her out.
“Your identity and your capabilities aren’t mutually exclusive. I bear no interest in your identity. As long as you don’t
do anything to hurt the company, I couldn’t care less about whose son you are,” Jenny said.
Alfred raised his eyebrows and said, smirking, “I approached you with an ulterior motive. Why do you think I’d slave
away for you since you already know who I am?”
He wasn’t a fool. Jenny knew of his identity, and she would be on her guard around him. She’d never like him this
way.
“Well, are you planning to quit?” Jenny looked at him, not surprised by his words.

It made Alfred a little disappointed. He’d wanted to see some sort of emotion on her face.
“Alfred, with a brother as talented as Alec and Mortimer as your father, you have been upset all
these years, haven’t you?” Jenny said calmly, looking at him.
Alfred stiffened. He glared at her. “Upset? Why would I be upset? Alec is a small fry.”
“Why would you target me if he was a small fry?” Jenny asked with a smile. She’d already seen through that part of
Alfred’s thoughts.
Alfred said nothing. Growing up, he didn’t know about Mortimer’s true identity. He thought he was just like the other
kids and his parents were like anyone else’s. But then he grew to know of it and learned of Alec’s existence. He
couldn’t control himself from investigating everything about Alec, and every time he saw how happy and sought-
after Alec was, jealousy burned in his heart.
They were both Fausts. Why did Alec have that life, and why was he just a regular guy?
