Chapter 1011 Don't You Think It's Selfish?
"There’s no need. I'll go over by myself,’ Jenny declined quickly. Things were incredibly
awkward.
Unfortunately, Evan refused to leave. "I'm already downstairs. Aren't you going to let me
go up? Besides, you have to move all your things. Can you handle them?'
God knew how happy Evan was when Jenny agreed to move in with him. He'd come there
early to personally bring her over.
Jenny wanted to say that she could, but he was already downstairs. He wouldn't leave no
matter what she said. "I'll come down to get you."
"It's alright. I have an assistant. Just tell me which floor you're on.' Evan didn't want to
trouble Jenny. He was wheelchair-bound, but that didn't mean he had completely lost his
mobility.
Jenny had no choice but to tell him which floor she was on. She hung up and looked at

"Evan is coming up. Why don't you..." Jenny opened her mouth to speak but didn't know
how to express what she wanted. Alec had made this breakfast. How could she chase him
out?
Alec knew what she wanted to say, but he didn’t want to leave. "It's not like I have to hide.
Do I have to avoid him?"
"I'm just worried that you'll fight with him.’ Both of them were important to her. She didn't
want that to happen.
Alec sighed. He didn't know what to do with her. "Don't worry, Jenny. I won't pick a fight if
Evan doesn't come looking for trouble."
Alec had to tolerate Evan. He saved Jenny, after all. But only if the man didn't start a fight.
"Alright," Jenny said, and nothing more. She had no reason to let him leave.
Soon, the doorbell rang. Evan appeared at the door. When he saw that it was Alec who
opened the door, the smile on his face vanished.
"Why are you here?" he asked, frowning.
Alec smiled and said, "I came to make her breakfast. I might have made you some if you
said you were coming earlier."
Alec looked at the things that the person behind Evan was carrying. It was also breakfast
of some sort.
Alec wanted to smile but held it in for Jenny's sake.
"Thank you, Mr. Faust, but I've already eaten." Evan's face was cold. He moved past Alec.
His assistant pushed him into the apartment.
"Evan." Jenny got up, inviting him in.
Evan glanced at the dining table. Indeed, they were having breakfast before he arrived. He
felt upset, but he was glad to have appeared in time. He didn't want them to be alone for
too long.

Alec didn't look happy. Evan's mood lifted.
Jenny did not notice that. She replied simply, "Yes."
"Alright. Let's leave after breakfast. We need to see if anything needs to be fixed in the
villa.' They didn't know how long Jenny would be there. She could even be there forever.
Jenny said nothing and nodded, but Alec couldn't bear to listen any longer.
He went to the dining table and sat, saying in a mocking tone, "Do you really think it's fair
to Jenny? Don't you think it's selfish?"
"Alec..."
Jenny wanted to stop him from saying unpleasant things, but Evan said, "I told Jenny
before that I wouldn't force her to move if she didn't want to. I'll ask you again, Jenny. Do
you want to move? If you don't, I'll leave immediately and won't hold this against you. I
saved you voluntarily. I don't care even that I'm wheelchair-bound. I don't want you to be
miserable."
