Chapter 5930 Avalon's face turned scarlet at the crowd's jeers.
Darryl saw this, and smiled gently. "Don't you stoop to their level. You won't be able to get anywhere using logic with these guys." Avalon grunted in response, holding back her anger and not saying anything.
Just then, Calvin stepped forward and looked at Darryl. "This little girl broke our vase?" "Yes," Darryl nodded.
Calvin smirked at the admission. "Alright. How do you think we should take care of this?" Darryl smiled lightly. "You can letmake a phone call. I'll be sure to return with a satisfying answer within the next half hour." Things would be much easier once he got into contact with Felix.

"This fellow's interesting, isn't he? Asking to make a phone call at a tlike this!" "I reckon he's trying to buy tto escape." "Yeah, I think so too..." The voices sounded over, all of them mocking Darryl.
Calvin could not help but laugh as well. He stared Darryl down, saying the words coldly. "Don't be funny with me. Are you thick in the head, thinking I'd let you make a phone call after breaking my vase?" Darryl did not react much to the humiliation. Instead he took a deep breath, looking at Calvin. "It's fine if you don't want to letdo that. You can call Felix Blakely then, and tell him an old friend wants to see him." Calvin's expression froze at the words, stopping short as he stared at Darryl in disbelief.
He knew Mister Felix? It was important to note that Felix was the head of Blakely Industries, and they had branches all over the Nine Continents. Calvin was one of the more favored people in the grand schof things, but could barely even be considered to be one of Felix's personal favorites.
And this poor, destitute looking guy was here, calling Felix by his first nand claiming they were friends? When would Mister Felix ever befriend lowly peasants like this? "Ha!" Calvin returned to his senses at last, and jeered at Darryl. "I'm not going to waste twith you. Since you can't givea satisfactory answer, I'm not going to play nice." As he spoke, Calvin called out to the surrounding security guards. "What are you standing there for? Tie the both of them up." The security guards raised their hands, charging towards Darryll.
Darryl shook his head at the sight. He tugged Avalon out of the crowd, and before the crowd could even react they had reached the reception counter.
Following that, Darryl could not be bothered to waste anymore time. He picked up the phone at the desk, and dialed Felix's number. His phone number was just a string of the number '6', making it extremely easy to remember.
Since the hotel wasn't willing to let him make the phone call, he was just going to have to take matters into his own hands. What? Just then, everyone else stopped short at the sight.
This man moved incredibly fast. Could he be an elite of the wandering world? Quickly enough, the security guards prepared to charge forward once again- but they were stopped by Calvin. Calvin could clearly see then that Darryl had pressed a string of the number '6' before making the phone call.
He...

This man actually knew Felix's number... could he really be a friend of his?
Just as Calvin was reeling in shock, the phone beeped a few times before LO Felix's low, rumbling voice Ɛthrough the receiver. "Who's this..." Over on the other end, Darryl flashed a smile. "Felix Blakely! It's me, Darryl!"
Felix seemed to pause at Darryl's voice, before breaking into emotion. "F*ck me, Brother Darry?? Am I dreaming? It really is you, Brother Darryl!" Darryl had been busy with his affairs
around the wandering world, and had not been in much contact with Felix as a result. Felix did not find il appropriate to disturb him much either, and was thus elated at the phone call. What? Felix's voice was extremely loud, and everyone else present could hear him clearly. They stopped short, their jaws dropping.
The great founder of Blakely Industries was speaking to this lowly commoner with such respect? And... he was calling him his brother? Who was this guy?
