Had it been in the past, Colon Phoenix would never have believed him. Yet after seeing Mona let herself go in front of Darryl
that night in the stone chambers, Colori Phoenix retracted a great deal of her trust in Darryl.
’I swear I'm telling the truth.” Oliver nodded solemnly.
'That b*stard, Darryl Darby," Colon Phoenix gritted out, an icy expression on her features. "I can't believe he would do
something like that."
Since Colori Phoenix Phoenix did not have a shred of doubt, Oliver fought to keep the anger in this expression while his
chest swelled with satisfaction. 1
He was too good. He had managed to push the blame onto Darryl with a mere few sentences, and Colon Phoenix had
believed all of it.

Leia was about to jump out of her skin in anger and panic to explain what had really happened to Colon Phoenix. Yet she
was held down by the Essence of Delusion in her body, an unbearable heat spreading through her. Images began to appear
in her head as well. Under those circumstances, she could hardly get a word out.

Oliver's expression morphed into one of horror. His lie would be exposed the second Leia
woke up. That would not do, would it?
Yet he dared not do anything.
Leia's mind lost focus as a curious strength spread through her body after she took the
Red Sparrow Pill. Her vision darkened, and she immediately lost consciousness.
Oliver asked in a panicked tone. "What happened to her?"
"No need to worry!"
Colon Phoenix's expressions remained unperturbed. "It's one of the effects of the pill. The
deeper she has been poisoned, the longer she'll be unconscious."
So that was the case.
Oliver heaved a sigh of relief. He was thankful that Leia would not wake up immediately.
He still had time to fix things.
However, how would she do that?
"Oliver!"
Just then, a thought seemed to come to Colon Phoenix. "You said you told Darryl Darby off.
What happened after that?"
Oliver scratched his head, thinking as he spoke. "I took Leia with me after telling Darryl
Darby off. I don't know what happened to him."
Colon Phoenix nodded wordlessly. "Let's go have a look."
Colori Phoenix's expression was calm, yet she was simmering with rage.
Darryl Darby had attempted to take advantage of Mona in the stone chamber. Thankfully,
Colon Phoenix had found out in time. Then, he tried to go after Mona's sister instead.
Oliver scrambled to do as he was told. "Alright!"
Oliver was feeling pretty overwhelmed. However, he was not worried that Colon Phoenix
would chance upon Darryl at all. He knew that Grunt would not let him go. Grunt had
probably destroyed Darryl's fairy soul and killed him.
Oliver did not know that Grunt had failed to kill Darryl, and Darryl had been brought away
by one of the twelve fiend Martyrs-Morticia Yves.

direction of the cave in the canyon.
What?
Everyone, including Oliver, Colon Phoenix, and the thousands of Black Tortoise warriors, arrived near the cave a few
minutes later. The sight shocked them, leaving them stunned.
Oliver, in particular, stood rooted to the ground. His mind was utterly blank.
The cave surroundings were splattered in blood. The rocks were marked with clear imprints that implied a fight had broken
out!
It was apparent that a tragic battle had just occurred.
What had happened there?
Oliver frowned, unable to hide his shock. He entered the cave to find it empty, with no sign of either Darryl or Grunt.
Just then, a few Black Tortoise warriors spotted a few dead soldiers not far away.
"What happened over here?"
Colon Phoenix's brows were furrowed as she snapped back to her senses. She turned to Oliver and said, "Why are there so
many dead soldiers? Did you run into a confrontation with the Godly Region after telling Darryl off?"
Oliver shook his head. "No.’
There was no way he would tell Colori Phoenix about his secret plan with Grunt.
