Theo lowered the car window and said with an expressionless face, "Don’t worry. The temperature now won't
cause someone to freeze to death."
“But I'll catch a cold!" | yelled with rage.
"You won't die from a cold." Theo raised his brows. “I'll get a doctor to treat you. It'll be hard for you to die."
| was going to spit out blood!

Theo was feeling better after he sawpissed off." Say that you were wrong and I'll let you in. Otherwise, you'll
have to walk back htoday."
"You!" | even thought of biting him to death.

Even though | was tempted to walk back home, it was way too cold out here. At last, | caved in and got in the
car.

When we were a kilometer away from the villa, he stopped the car. "I'm already being kind enough by giving you
a lift till here. You can walk the rest of the way."
"Theo Grant!" | clenched my teeth while looking at him. "Are you stupid..."
"Yes?" Theo's face turned gloomy immediately. It was indeed scary to look at.
| swallowed the other words | wanted to say. Then, | unbuckled my seat belt, opened the door, and got out o f the
car. | gave him a thumbs up. "Just wait and see."
Theo acted in a carefree manner. He sneered and drove away, causing the plumes of smoke from the exhaust to
hitright in the face.
| almost could not hold back and scolded him loudly. However, | still managed to restrain myself.
When | reached hand entered the house, | saw Theo carrying a plate of pastries while munching on sas
he walked out of the dining room. | sneered and said, "You'd better eat slowly. Don't choke to death."
| went upstairs after | said that. | did not want to talk t o him anymore.
| had just taken a step into the room when Theo ci n too, followinginto the room.
I ignored his existence. | sat on the chair and switched on the laptop on the table to work.
"Don't you have anything to tell me?” He cup behindand asked eerily.
| could feel a shiver running down my spine. | stood u p, turned around, and looked at him vigilantly. "Theo, can
you stop acting like a woman? Just say what you want to. Otherwise, how am | supposed to know what you
want?"
"Swear that you'll stay away from Matthew," Theo said coldly.
"That's impossible." | frowned. "It's impossible fornot to be in touch with him.”

"Can you stop seeing my relationship with him in such a negative light?" | felt helpless. "It's impossible for me
not to be in touch with him since we work together. But | guarantee that I'll keep my distance from him unless
it's about work. Is that fine for you?"
Theo sneered. "Do you think I'll believe you?" "Then what do you wantto do?" | got fed up with him. "Theo,
you can't have double standards.
Previously, | asked you to stop caring about Cindy and stay away from her. You weren't able to do that either!"
"It's different!" Theo grabbedby the shoulder. "I've never had any other thoughts about her. I'm merely
fulfilling my responsibility."
