Chapter 1719
| thought about it all night.
The more | thought about it, the more breathless | got.
Theo could easily see what was wrong with me. He sat beside me, gently stroked my belly, and looked at me
with affection and tenderness. Then, he asked, "What's the matter? Why are you so angry?"
Angry?
| turned around and looked at myself through the glass window. | touched my face and asked, "Do | look
annoyed?"
Theo tapped on my nose and replied in a gentle tone, "No. | can sense it from just listening to your breathing. It's
not as smooth as usual, and you're breathing heavily. What other reason could there be if it's not you being
angry?"
| did not expect Theo to be so attentive.
I looked at him and remembered Tyler. Then, | asked, "Do men like women who are alluring and seductive?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt1 did not even realize that | sounded a little furious when | said that.
Theo quietly endured my temper, then he immediately replied, "That's other men. I'm only attracted to you." He
leaned closer toand planted a kiss on my cheek.
| was preoccupied with Tyler and Sara's matter. | was not in the mood to give him a response. | moved his face
away, stood up, and sat on another armchair.
Theo carefully shota glance. He quietly walked towardand sat on the armrest of the sofa. He bent down
and asked me," Tellwho's the seductive little vamp you mentioned just now? What's making my wife
worried?"
| let out a heavy sigh and said calmly," Tyler looked fortoday and toldthat Sara is pregnant."
Theo did not say anything. He waited forto continue.
"He toldthat his treatment toward her is all an act. How could he make Sara pregnant when he's putting on a
show, though? What's worse than Sara getting pregnant is Tyler doesn't want Sara to give birth to the baby. He
wantsto convince her. What is Tyler thinking? Poor Susan." | slammed my hand on the sofa as though | was
beating Tyler, that heartbreaker.
Theo smiled after he heard what |
said. He replied, "No matter how you put it, you're defending Susan. Wanda, everyone has their own destiny You
can't control everything. Why should you bother intervening
in someone else's matter?"
| had no idea why | was so mad after thinking about it all night. However, after what Luke told me, my emotions
becmore stable. The frustrations in my heart were almost gone.
"I know. | just can't figure it out.
Susan is such a good woman, but Tyler doesn't appreciate or cherish her." My eyes darkened. | truly hoped Tyler
would not let Susan go. However, | thought Tyler no longer deserved Susan.
Theo stroked my head. He pulledinto his arms and said in a gentle voice, "Why don't you deal with your
matters first before you help someone handle theirs, huh?"
Theo was right. | had yet to deal with Julie's matter. | should not be in the mood to think about someone else's
matter. Then, | replied, "Yeah. You're right. continue my investigation tomorrow. I've already cup with a
plan."

| broke free from his arms, looked at him amusingly, and said, "You're coaxinglike I'm a child."
Theo disapproved and gavethat look like it was how things were supposed to be. "Treat a pregnant woman
like a child. | saw it in the book," said Theo. He beamed with joy, makingunable to find a reason to oppose
him.
"Fine. | didn't know you had tfor books. Have you finished all your work?"
| remembered that something happened to Grant Corporation not long ago.
"Almost done. The A.l. has been placed and arranged. Everything is on schedule."
| did not expect Theo to finish dealing with everything so quickly. He was a real man, indeed.
"Theo, I'm proud of you."
It was from the bottom of my heart.
