Noelle ended up visiting Rosie first.

Beatrice had planned to accompany her, but perhaps sensing Noelle's resistance —and realizing that it was her first tmeeting Rosie-she felt it inappropriate to enter the room empty-handed after arriving in such a hurry.

So, when she reached the doorway of the hospital room, she stopped and decided not to go inside.

Through the slightly opened door, she could hear Rosie's soft, childlike voice. Unable to resist, she took a few glances inside. But all she saw was Rosie's back, her round little head, and a pair of fair arms.

Beatrice could tell with just that one look how well-behaved Rosie was. Her gaze softened.

Just then, Noelle cout of the room. She had wanted to remove her IV drip earlier, but Seline firmly refused to allow it. So, she still had the needle in her hand when she stepped out.

"What do you want to discuss with me?" Noelle asked after returning to her own hospital room.

"I just received this today," Beatrice replied, handing over a file.

Noelle was initially puzzled-until she saw the words, "Matching Successful".

She lifted her head abruptly and stared at Beatrice in wide-eyed shock. Beatrice simply smiled and said, "Yes, it's the result of my match with Rosie." "When... When did you-" "I heard from Hendrix before. Although, as his mother, I strongly disapprove of his actions, it's ultimately his body. You know that in this kind of situation, not even a mother can force him to undergo surgery. But Rosie is my granddaughter, after all.

"Even though we've never met, she is a living, breathing human being. And I know how much you cherish her, so I couldn't just stand by and watch her lose the opportunity for treatment. Fortunately, the result cback as a match.

"I've already discussed it with the doctor just now. Although I'm older, my health is fairly good, so there shouldn't be any major issue with the surgery." Noelle was speechless.

To be honest, she had been on the verge of fosing all hope. But now, it was as if she had reached a dead end, only to find another path appeared before her.

"You don't want to do the surgery?" Beatrice asked.

Noelle was taken aback for a moment before shaking her head without hesitation.

"Of course I do! I'm truly grateful that you're willing to help us. Really!" Her voice trembled slightly with emotion. Clutching the papers tightly, she seemed as though she wanted to say more but ultimately remained silent. In the end, she simply looked at Beatrice with red-rimmed eyes.

.n "Rosie's my granddaughter," Beatrice said. "Frankly, it's embarrassing. This should've been Hendrix's. responsibility from the start. Yet, it seems like it's becsolely yours." Noelle stayed quiet.

IMS "But after the surgery, I hope you can promiseone thing," Beatrice continued.

Noelle's expression immediately turned serious. She knew this was Beatrice's true reason for speaking with her, so she wasn't surprised at all.

But at this point, she had no other choice. No Beatrice matter what request Beatrice made, she had to agree. "Please, go on," Noelle said.

"After the surgery, I hope you and Rosie will move in withBeatrice said slowly. Noelle immediately frowned.
