"Con, let's climb up!"

As he moved towards the black mountain, Austin motioned his companions to follow him.

He had the Geomancy Compass and the Layne's Ruler with him to help them guide their way.

Upon hearing Austin call for them, the others followed him closely for fear that they might lose their way or make a mistake if they

got distracted for even a second.

For protection, hundreds of yellow wooden stakes emitting a strong aura floated around them.

To provide an additional shield, dozens of earth dragons also moved around them.

Clap! Crack! Boom!

The moment everyone stepped on the black mountain, a monstrous thunder had once again growled from the sky above them.

This time, however, the thunder seemed weaker than before.

Nonetheless, the thunderbolts were still powerful enough to hit most of the yellow wooden stakes and searth dragons.

Thanks to them, Austin and his companions weren't hurt badly.

"Everyone, pay attention to your breath. Try not to release your own energy," Austin instructed them in a deep voice.

"It might accidentally disturb the energy balance in the surroundings. If they sense our energy, we might becthe target of

those lightning attacks.

Besides, I'm using the Geomancy Compass and the Earth Energy to detect which spots are relatively safer to tread.

So just follow my steps and tracks precisely. We have to be careful."

His eyebrows furrowed as he scanned their surroundings.

As if they were comforted by his order, the others did as he said.

They knew that if Austin wasn't leading the way, they wouldn't even have the courage to break into this terrifying Thunder

Mountain.

It was a huge black mountain, and it was emitting an indescribable and horrible aura that made everyone feel haunted.

Piles of corpses and bones were scattered all over the place.

As they walked past them, they sensed that those belonged to divine gods since their divine auras still lingered over them.

Seeing those hundreds of piles of bones and corpses, they realized that countless divine gods used to cto the Thunder

Mountain and tried to climb up. However, they would be killed by the lightning halfway before they could even reach the top.

Clap! Crash! Boom!

Dozens of thunderbolts rolled down and lit up the whole place.

Austin and his companions continued to move forward carefully towards the top of the mountain.

"Ah! I got hit again! It hurts!"

"Ow! My whole arm got burnt! That lightning was terrifying!

Good thing | was able to move, so | quickly dodged it. Otherwise, my head would be split apart!"

"I got hit on my back too!"

All of them grimaced and screamed with pain. No one knew how many times they had been hit by the lightning before they even

reached their destination.

Crack!

The wooden stakes floating around them had been blown up by lightning just when they arrived at the hillside.

In an instant, about six earth dragons had also been blown up to pieces.

"We should hurry! Let's go!"

Austin urged them to move faster. In his mind, he had also been stupefied, but he tried his best not to look fazed. Without much

ado, he bit his tongue and spurted more than a dozen mouthfuls of blood essence onto the Geomancy Compass.

Buzz!

The Geomancy Compass shook violently the moment it got stained with Austin's blood. It then hummed and swiftly moved forward.

As if it had been ignited, the golden needle on the plate emitted a dazzling golden light and rotated quickly. When it stopped, it

pointed to the direction where Austin and the others were going.

"All right, let's move!"

Austin shouted, trying to mask his fear.

He was desperate to get out of there as soon as he could, so he began to run.

All of his companions locked their eyes on his footsteps and followed him closely. None of them could afford the consequences of

stepping into a different path.

Everyone knew that this was a land of death. One mistake and both their body and soul might end up in destruction.

After two hours’ worth of hiking, they were finally close to the top of the mountain.

"Awesome!

| can see it! The top isn't so far away anymore!

Even so, I'm awfully tired. If we go on like this, even if we don't get killed by that terrifying lightning, we'll probably die of

exhaustion." Magee spoke with both joy and frustration while he tried to catch his breath.

As they climbed the mountain, they had to deal with the lightning that was constantly attacking them, along with the need to resist

the terrible pressure emitted by this huge mountain. It was indeed a very tiring climb.

Despite all the dangers that they had been facing during their climb, all of them had successfully reached the top of the mountain.

It was wide and flat, but one thing caught their attention.

At the center of the mountain top, there sat a huge, dark red coffin.

Blood was gushing out of it. Looking at the coffin gave off a strange feeling to everyone.

They were stopped in their tracks. As Otis saw the coffin before them, he asked, "Uhm, Austin. Are you sure that we can exit this

land of death through that coffin?"

Otis looked bewildered. Indeed, what welcomed them was quite mind-boggling.

Everyone stared at the strange coffin with puzzled faces. When they heard Otis ask Austin the sthing they were thinking, they

looked at Austin and waited for his answer.

Like everyone else, Austin fixed his eyes on the coffin and the blood that had been gushing out of it. He was deep in thought.

Hearing Otis' question, Austin finally shifted his gaze to him. He nodded and said, "Yeah. That should be our way out of here."

At this point, the golden needle on the Geomancy Compass had mellowed out. It was emitting a soft luster as it quietly aimed at

the stone coffin.

The Layne's Ruler was also pointing at the coffin before them.

Since both magic treasures eased up, it meant that they were finally in the presence of the solution to their difficult situation.

Austin looked at them and suggested in a firm tone, "Let's step into the coffin!"

He was quite confident in his Earth Exploring Technique, so he led the way towards the coffin.

However, the rest of them were still unconvinced. They looked at each other, gritted their teeth, and decided to follow Austin

towards the coffin despite all their doubts.

"Whoa. Look, it really is a pool of blood..."

While they walked, they slowly felt a freezing coldness wrap them, like they were about to enter an ice cellar. It was so cold they

thought that the coffin could actually freeze people to death.

The moment they reached the coffin, everyone was stunned when they saw what was inside.

It was filled with stinky blood.

At that moment, even Austin grew hesitant.

As he took a gander at the coffin filled with blood, he thought to himself, 'How can this coffin be the exit?

Is this really the way out of this land of death? But where's the road?’

While everyone fell into silence and disbelief, something con the scene.

"Look! Someone is approaching!"

Ingram suddenly shouted and informed the others.

Everyone looked back and saw a figure of a man walking slowly towards them.

Upon closer inspection, they recognized that it was an old man in a Taoist robe.

His robe was quite old and tattered. He was so skinny that he looked like a living skeleton. Even the purplish gold crown on his

head had lost all its luster.

Everything about him screamed like he was lost in time.

"Gentlemen, can you help and guideout of this place?

Rest assured. | will pay you for your kindness,"

the old man said in a low, soft voice.

Then, he reached out into the sleeve of his robe and took something out. The next second, a golden fruit appeared on his palm.

The flesh of the fruit was actually transparent, thus one could clearly see its core.

At a closer look, the core contained a small golden dragon that was constantly swimming within.

They perceived that such a powerful aura was being emitted by the golden fruit.

"Wait a minute! Isn't that the divine dragon fruit?"

Otis, Bernie, Magee, and the other medium-grade divine gods were stunned at the sight of the rare fruit. Before they even entered

the Fallen Divine Valley, they had been traveling all over the Sea of Chaos. Their rich experience granted them the ability to

recognize a suprand legendary treasure at first glance.

"Legends say that in the divine dragon race, there are a few select dragons with exceptionally strong power every once in a while.

After they die, their dragon essence will produce a kind of treasure tree. It is called the divine dragon tree.

Thus, its fruit is called the divine dragon fruit.

They say that if one is able to consa divine dragon fruit, he will obtain the suprblood power of the divine dragon race in

his body!"

Otis explained.

'The blood power of the divine dragon race?! This fruit is so precious then!"

Austin was in great shock. He stared at the divine dragon fruit in the old man's hand with such passionate eyes.

"Sir, if you possess that precious fruit, you must not be an ordinary person. May we know your name?"

Otis asked in a very respectful tone. He cupped his hands to show his admiration and reverence.

"lI can't answer your question because | have forgotten the past. The realhas already been destroyed. | guess it's true when

they say that no one can resist against time,"

the old man answered in a calm tone. His ancient aura was pervading the air in the surroundings.

They couldn't help but look at each other with confused eyes as they didn't understand what the old man exactly meant.
