Countless shadows flew above Austin and hit him with an intense amount of energy. It terrified Austin.

"Don't worry. These arrays of the golden path are also forceful defense instruments. They can withstand even the most powerful

attacks. As long as you stand still, they cannot hurt you,"

the man in the white bead assured Austin.

True enough, before the shadows were about to hit Austin's head, waves of brilliant golden energy surged up from the golden path

and formed a shield. It forced the shadow away from Austin, protecting him.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The shadows shattered into pieces and fell from the sky like stardust.

"Let's join forces and attack this little bastard together. | want him dead today!" Lance shouted to his companions. His face filled

with anger and resentment.

'l can't hurt Austin because of those stupid arrays, ' he thought.

The disciples of the Arcane Holy Land that were with Lance all attacked Austin with their own powerful vital energy.

They were highly skilled cultivators, trained to fight in battles. As they each launched an attack, it created a massive energy force

that radiated on the ground. The whole valley trembled violently and around them were crashing sounds.

The golden energy that cout of the golden path repelled all the attacks. No amount of martial skills and energy force from the

members of the Arcane Holy Land could penetrate the shield. They could not touch a single hair from Austin's head.

Austin fixed his gaze on Lance. He wanted to kill him and his face showed it. Austin was a vengeful man, and he was never friendly

to anyone who wanted him dead.

"I will never forget what you did to me. You will pay for it one day!" Austin said as he pointed his finger towards Lance.

Without waiting for a response, he turned around and took Stacy by the hand. They dashed towards the gate of the palace and

reached it in a flash.

The rest stared at Austin's retreating figure. They did not understand why a young man of the Semi-holy Realm had the courage to

mess with a disciple of the Arcane Holy Land.

They admired his courage, especially the disciples of the second-class and third-class sects.

"Damn it! Little bastard, | swear | won't let you get away with this," Lance said with so much hatred. At this point all he could do

was follow Austin with his eyes.

He hated Austin's gut.

He saw the fierce look on the Austin's face.

‘This is ridiculous. A nobody dared to look down onand planned to kill me. How dare him?' he thought.

This was the first tthat he felt insulted, and it bruised his pride.

"Josh, please tell us how to destroy the arrays with violence.

That bastard and Stacy have entered the palace. If we don't do anything now, they might swallow all the treasures,"

Lance said to Josh.

"You're right," Josh replied, as he watched Austin and Stacy. Even from a distance he could see the smile on their faces as they

stepped into the palace.

His eyes narrowed in anger as the two disappeared from his sight.

He was an arrogant man and always acted superior towards others. Austin confronted him in front of so many people, and this

made him furious. Just like Lance, he hated Austin's guts. He wanted to humiliate Austin, and he was determined to find that

chance.

"I will tell you what to do. Please follow my instructions so that we can break the arrays. We only have one shot at this,"

Josh said loudly, facing the other cultivators.

Soon the disciples of other sects gathered together and followed him somewhere near the golden path.

Under his guidance, they all attacked the sspots around the path.

The whole valley shook, and dirt danced in the air.

On the other hand, Austin and Stacy had entered the palace hand in hand.

They could not see anything around them, but a portal in the center. It emitted the spacial teleportation power.

"That portal is the entrance to the most important place of our sect.

The Secret Valley is actually an independent space, and this portal is a teleportation array,"

the man in the bead said to Austin.

'l see, ' Austin thought.

"The portal is the entrance to the Secret Valley. We need to get through it,"

Austin said to Stacy.

"I guess there are no arrays here, right?"

Stacy looked seriously at Austin.

"Yeah, | guess so," Austin replied.

Stacy's question confused her.

"Can you let go of my hand now?"

Stacy said irritated.

With this, Austin let go of Stacy's hand and smiled awkwardly. His face flashed in embarrassment.

He cleared his throat. "Of course," he muttered.

Embarrassed, he strode towards the portal and signaled Stacy to follow.

He and Stacy went through the portal, and soon...

Swoosh!

The teleportation power enveloped the two of them with a blinding light. They felt themselves being lifted and carried to another

world.

Soon, they were in a different place.

It was a sunny day outside of the portal. The sky was clear and there was no trace of clouds in the sky.

They felt an abundant spiritual energy in the place where they stood.

"This is the Secret Valley. Taketo that towering mountain. That is where we would find Jessy's cave," the man in the bead urged

Austin.

His voice was filled with a strong emotion.

Austin flew towards the direction the man in the bead pointed to him. It was on top of an enormous mountain. A vast land

surrounded by giant trees and beautiful flowers.

Stacy followed him.

With the man showing them the way, Austin and Stacy cto a hidden cave.

"This is where Jessy cultivated," the man said in a low voice.

The place reminded him of so many memories that it made him cry tears of joy.

Swoosh!

The white bead flew out of Austin's Soul Sea and fell on his shoulder.

A shadow of a man dressed in yellow clothes cout of the bead.

"Sir, you need to get back at the bead, or else your soul will run out of energy soon,"

Austin said, startled by the man's actions.

Once a human's spiritual soul left its body, it could not exist in the physical realm for a long tunless it was kept or hidden in an

enchanted space or capsule.

The white bead contained a special space.

It was why the man's soul survived in it for a long time. The white bead sustained and protected the man's soul.

But once his soul was out of the white bead, it would lose its energy slowly and would eventually perish.

The man's action would only lead to his own destruction.

"That's all right. My soul will soon disappear, anyway. Get inside. The cave is surrounded by countless arrays for protection. But you

will be allowed to enter because you have my jade token.

Ha-ha! | can enter this cave freely because Jessy cast sspell on my jade token. Other male disciples from our sect are not as

lucky as | am,"

the man said, proud and beaming with pride.
