Chapter 807 Not the Milbar Desert Again
F Finished.
Upstairs in the study, Eddie was pacing like an ant on a hot pan, terrified that Stella would spill everything to
Abraham. Please, let that girl be smart for once.
But to his dismay, she wasn’t.
Ever since Stella got pregnant, her IQ had taken a nosedive.
When Abraham entered the study, the look in his eyes was unmistakably off.
Eddie met his gaze and instinctively swallowed hard. “What are you doing?”
“What am | doing? You tell me...”
Eddie went silent.
I'm doomed. That girl's got no filter now; she must've rattedout completely.
Abraham's precious treasure-did he really think the man would tolerate her begging someone else?
The spot on his neck where Abraham had grabbed him still throbbed painfully.
“I didn’t even do anything,” he muttered weakly.
Abraham's voice dropped, low and cold. “You enjoy it when she begs you?”
Eddie froze.
He could actually hear the anger simmering in Abraham's tone.
At that moment, Eddie wanted nothing more than to slam his head against the wall and end it all.
“I didn’t make her beg me; she did it on her own!”
Something whizzed through the air—a small, heavy object flying straight at him. Eddie ducked just in time.
With a loud thud, it smashed into the wall behind him.
If he hadn’t moved that fast, it would've hit him square in the forehead and left a lump the size
of an egg.
“I swear it wasn’twho made her ask.” he cried.

Abraham gave a cold, sharp laugh. “I know what's in that head of yours.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThat laugh cut straight through Eddie; Abraham sounded like he'd seen right through him.
Eddie fell silent again.
“Have you fallen for Rianne?” Abraham asked flatly.
He'd never had patience for people who danced around emotional nonsense. If there was something to say, he
said it outright.
Eddie froze, completely stunned.
His
eyes
flicked awkwardly toward Abraham. “No, | mean, con, bro, I-”
“Why don’t you take a page from Victor's book,” Abraham interrupted before he could finish.
That one line hit Eddie like a slap.
“Wait-what?”
“Victor and Tessa just met, and they're already living together.”
“What?” Eddie blurted out.
Eddie thought. Hold on. Victor? Living with Tessa? That didn’t make sense. Victor, with that eternally cold, stoic
face. How had he managed to charm a woman, let alone get her to move in with him?
The man had always been an iceberg; plenty of women had tried to get close, but his aura alone scared them
off. And now that man was living with Tessa? Is that even right?
Abraham lit a cigarette, took a slow drag, and said, “And you still have Stella begging you? You should be the one
begging her.”
Eddie said nothing. Wait a second... when did | ever admit | liked Rianne?
He met Abraham's steady gaze and swallowed again. “I don’t like her.”
Abraham's eyes darkened, but he didn’t respond.
Eddie fidgeted under that stare, muttering, “I really don’t like her.”
Abraham finally said, “Fine, don’t like her then. Someone else already does.”
Eddie froze. Someone else?

The moment Eddic mentioned Tempest, his mouth got away from him again.
Thankfully, he was talking about
Tempest—if it had egnast

Meanwhile, Stella had just gotten a call-from Tempest.
Apparently, Rianne wasn’t even answering his calls anymore.
With no other option, he'd called Stella instead.
On the line, Tempest asked directly, “Did Rianne go to Falvaria?”
Stella hummed in acknowledgment; she didn’t bother hiding it.
“She’s with you?” he pressed.
Clearly, Rianne hadn't told him where she was going this time. He'd only managed to find out that she'd gone to
Falvaria.
He had no idea she’d already transferred flights that morning and was now on her way to Yalvoria.
And Stella certainly had no intention of telling him.
“Tempest,” she said bluntly, “I'm a

She spoke without hesitation.
When a man and a woman were together, and half his family was against her, the rest of her life with him would
be pure torment.
