Carmen remained silent. Both she and Trevor understood that the only reason he ever intervened to help her,

The family driver took them over. But as soon as they pulled up to the hotel, Carmen spotted that mob of
obsessive fans, and she knew exactly how nuts those people could get. She immediately told the driver to turn
the car around and head back.
