Mrs. Johnson's hands trembled as she clutched the lawsuit papers, causing the nurse to finally realize who she was dealing with.

This was the slady who had caused amotion upstairs just yesterday.

The nurse had been mentally preparing herself to not react harshly to any provocations.

"What in the world is going on? Who the hell is out to get us?!" Mrs. Johnson spat out every curse under the sun, directing her fury

at the person who had handed her the lawsuit.

The delivery guy, sensing Mrs. Johnson was not someone to mess with, made a quick exit as soon as she signed for the package.

The nurse, trying to support Mrs. Johnson, ended up bearing the brunt of her anger due to an accidental shove that made Mrs.

Johnson accuse her of malicious intent.

"Everyone, look at this young lady! So small, yet so vicious! What kind of people does this hospital hire? If I, an old woman, were to

fall and die here, what would my son do?!"

The nurse was at a loss for words, overwhelmed as the crowd around them grew and the whispers beclouder, almost making

her faint.

"My God, what's happening to this young lady?" a bold onlooker asked as he helped the nurse to her feet, prompting a tearful

thank you from her.

The man, glaring at Mrs. Johnson, demanded, "What's all this about?"

Mrs. Johnson, not one to let anyone defend the nurse, tically claimed, "I just asked for her help, and she tried to trip me! At

my age, a fall could be disastrous!"

The nurse remained silent, her tears falling freely, regretting her attempt to help.

Faye, entering the hospital lobby, noticed themotion and approached to inquire, "What's happening? Why are you crying?"

Recognizing Faye, the patients shifted their gaze towards Mrs. Johnson, notorious for her disruptive behavior the day before.

The nurse, trying to send Faye away, said, "Faye, you should head back to your department. There are many waiting for your help.

I'm fine; it's just my eyes."

Faye caught sight of Mrs. Johnson glaring at her from behind the nurse.

"You dare show up? You haven't even settled my son's issue, and youe here?" Mrs. Johnson lashed out upon seeing Faye,

demanding that she apany her to resolve slegal matters.

Despite the crowd's attempts to calm her, Mrs. Johnson's agitation only grew, her diminutive frmoving swiftly towards Faye.

Faye and the nurse retreated behind the reception area, trying to put distance between them and Mrs. Johnson, whose ranting

continued unabated.

A bystander tried to intervene, only to be met with physical aggression from Mrs. Johnson, leaving him with a visible injury.

The chaos persisted until Logan, having just finished his rounds, arrived and confronted Mrs. Johnson with a firm reminder of the

legal implications of her actions.

The crowd, now realizing Mrs. Johnson's baseless accusations, began to vocalize their support for the medical staff, condemning

her actions.

Eventually, the police were called, and Mrs. Johnson was detained despite her protests, her credibility with them long exhausted.

Before leaving the police station, Logan coolly reminded Mrs. Johnson of her uing court date, unfazed by her continued

outbursts.

Outside, Faye waited for Logan, expressing her gratitude for his intervention, which Logan dismissed as a minor issuepared to

their safety.

This incident marked a brief respite from Mrs. Johnson's disturbances, allowing Faye and the hospital staff speace.

Faye nodded in agreement, and the two of them made their way back in silence. Logan was focused on driving, sensing that what

Faye needed most at that moment was a bit of peace and quiet.

Thepact space of the car was suddenly filled with the sound of Faye's phone ringing. She quickly picked it up, and Doreen's

voice ctumbling out in a rush.

"Where are you? I'm at the hospital and can't find you anywhere. And what's this | hear about you heading to the police station?"

Faye hadn't expected Doreen to show up so quickly. She glanced at Logan and lowered her voice, "There was a bit of a situation,

but we're on our way back now."

"You better givethe full story when you get here!"
