Chapter 669: Panagea(1)
ɴ[0)ᴠᴇʟ The Anarchic Parasite left right after reprimanding its servant and informing Aakesh of the reason behind its servant’s action.
“Adventurer, forgive me, once again!”
“Thank you for rescuing my master!”
The servant then apologized once again, even after offering remuneration for its actions. It was sincerely grateful to Aakesh for healing its master, so it thanked Aakesh and then left the area.
Even the servant of the Anarchic Parasite was above Level 300, so Aakesh couldn’t even see how it left the area.
Since there was nothing left to do here for Aakesh, and he also had wasted a lot of time fighting the continuous arrival of group members, Aakesh decided to depart without wasting even a moment of time..
Today, Aakesh had less than twenty-four hours to stay in Panagea since some extra time got taken by him and Lily’s discussion and then some more time when they both played. Aakesh didn’t regret the fewer hours since he found those small times with Lily more worthwhile than entering Panagea.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAakesh only thought about the time because he decided to go ahead with spending twelve hours for his class. Even though the time for the Watcher exceeded half the amount of time Aakesh had in Panagea, Aakesh knew he wasn’t at a loss. In fact, he had gained more than usual.
The killing of several groups of people didn’t come as a loss to him since he gained XPs from it. Especially after killing the Level 250 man, his gain surpassed the combined amount of XPs he had earned up to that point. As an apology, Aakesh also had an increment of one level due to the parasite’s servant offering him enough XP for that.
Time flew by, and a few more hours had passed.
The Dark Forest was a vast area, with no one knowing how big it was. Aakesh had been traveling here for the past several months, and yet he hadn’t breached the outer area.
Today, Aakesh decided to leave the Dark Forest. He had already traveled around the area where he could only meet Level 250+ creatures if his luck were terrible. If he were to travel further, meeting Level 250+ creature would depend on his good fortune since these Levels were the lowest Levels of the beasts further ahead.
Aakesh currently had no requirement of traveling to the dangerous parts of the Dark Forest since he had no such quest, nor did he want to face against those deadly beasts and create the situation worse for him.
After Aakesh had the thought of leaving, he didn’t waste any more seconds and began his journey to exit the forest. The Dark Forest was too vast for him to depart it in one day, so Aakesh didn’t worry about wasting the twelve hours he had reserved for the class, Watcher.
Time flew by, and a few more hours had passed.
It was only several minutes left before the twelve hour deadline for Watcher would begin when Aakesh came across a settlement.
The settlement wasn’t very big, with its population only being in few thousand.
Aakesh wanted something bigger since the larger the talent pool, the more fortunate candidates Aakesh would be able to find.
Unfortunately for Aakesh, he had no more time left to search for another town, village, or city. So Aakesh decided to leave everything to fate and hope to find a good candidate from these few thousand people.
Since the settlement was only a few hundred thousand miles from the dangerous parts of the outer areas, the settlement was like a fort, with all the citizens wearing armors and carrying their weapons all the time.
It was not easy for Aakesh to enter the settlement despite being an adventurer, as one wrong move would create a dooming situation for the people living here.
It took a lot of effort and a lot of Soul stones to buy his entry to the settlement.
Aakesh could sense himself getting watched all the time, but he didn’t mind it. He knew the dangers the settlements had to face, so he wasn’t going to make a ruckus about him being surveilled.
The settlement was only spread across a few thousand miles, so it didn’t take much time for Aakesh to travel to the inner parts.
There weren’t many shops, and there was no area like the market, where a large number of people gathered. But since Aakesh had to do with what he had, the next moment, he activated the skill, Universal Eye.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe next moment, a virtual 3D projection showing real-time action appeared in front of Aakesh. Even though Aakesh was getting watched, since only he could see the projection, none was aware of it.
Not long after, Aakesh activated the skill Fortune Eye. Soon, another projection on top of the previous one appeared.
The newer projection showed a smaller range of area, but for Aakesh, it didn’t matter much.
On the first screen, Aakesh could only see a few figures that weren’t greyed out. He could count them by their numbers. Only those non-greyed figures appeared on the newer projection.
There were only seventeen figures, out of which Aakesh could select a candidate. Even then, it wasn’t easy for Aakesh, as all the seventeen figures had the same number of golden, red, and black lines connecting their fate.
Even Aakesh had to feel surprised since everyone having the same fate was a rare occurrence.
Since everyone had the same fate, Aakesh thought that a battle was about to come. Aakesh then randomly selected his candidate since there was no point in thinking much about it.
The candidate selected by Aakesh was a male and belonged to the Sunlight Elf race. The settlement here consisted of people of every race, so seeing different races mating wasn’t surprising here for others, let alone Aakesh, who had come across many places like this settlement.
The male candidate had all the distinct features of the Sunlight Elves. What made him different from others was the straight scar that went from the area above his lips to his forehead. It gave the man an ugly look since he only had a nose with a single nostril. An ugly Elf was sure a surprising sight for the people to see.
Aakesh didn’t care about the appearance of others, so it didn’t matter to him.
