Chapter 638: An Event(1)
It had been around ten hours since Aakesh had entered the Panagea. In the last ten hours, Aakesh had gained enough XPs to increase his level by one, becoming a Level 235.
Aakesh was currently still not close to any city or settlement, so Aakesh decided to search for one. His class would benefit him most when the number of people reached a high number, giving him a large pool to choose candidates.
Time flew by.
After a search of an hour and a few kills, Aakesh finally reached a city in the deep outer parts of the Dark Forest.
The Dark Forest spanned over countless miles, so Aakesh had been here for several months, and yet he was still in the outer parts of the forest. If Aakesh wanted, he would have already entered deeper into the forest, but since it was no less than suicide, Aakesh didn’t attempt it.
In the deeper parts of the Dark Forest, the minimum level creature Aakesh would come across would be Level 300, so for Aakesh, even escaping in their presence was impossible, let alone surviving to tell the tale.

“Adventurer, halt!” As Aakesh was proceeding toward the city, he suddenly heard a commanding tone ordering him to stop.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAakesh didn’t even take a glance in the direction of the voice and continued on his journey.
“I told you to stop,” The same voice rang again. This time it contained irritation since the owner didn’t like the adventurer refusing to accept their order.
Similar to the last time, Aakesh ignored the voice and its tone and continued on his journey.
The voice called out several times, but Aakesh ignored it every time and finally reached the gates of the city.
The city didn’t look large from the outside. It also only had two guards standing there. Unlike other cities, Aakesh did not find any queue waiting there and he could directly enter.
“State your purpose,” The guard standing on the left side asked Aakesh after seeing him approaching the gate.
“Travel,” Aakesh expressionlessly answered. The guard nodded and gestured for Aakesh to enter. Unlike in other cities, there was no entry charge here, so Aakesh did not need to pay.
As Aakesh was leaving, the guard standing on the right suddenly stopped him and asked him, “Did you hear any voice telling you to stop on your way?”
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded and then made his way to enter the city, unaware that a look of horror had spread across both the guard’s faces when they saw Aakesh nod.
Since Aakesh was Level 235, equivalent to Immortal in the Primal dimension, Aakesh would have noticed the look of change in the guard’s expressions, but he didn’t.
Aakesh also didn’t notice that he didn’t check the levels of the guards like he used to do in every city. It was as if there was an invisible influence showing him things different than they were on the outside.
“Should we kill him?” The guard standing on the left suddenly asked. His face still contained a hint of horror as if there was something very threatening about the voice and the adventurer.
“He is an adventurer. We can’t kill him,” The guard on the right responded with helplessness in his voice. If they wanted, they could have easily killed Aakesh since each guard was a Level 300+ creature.
Aakesh stood no chance against them even if he used the entirety of his strength of the Primal dimension, let alone Panagea. But since adventurers in Panagea have the ability of unlimited revival, the guard couldn’t help but stop short of killing Aakesh.
“So, we let it create a wave of destruction in Kakar?” The guard on the left asked with a slight hint of anger in his voice.

Unaware of getting in danger, Aakesh continued toward the busiest point of the city.
Time flew by.
Aakesh’s journey finally came to a stop as Aakesh finally found himself in a place filled with people, the market in Kakar.
The next moment, Aakesh activated the skill Universal Eye.

In the projection of a radius of eight yojanas around him, Aakesh saw a grey-colored figure where he stood, signifying that it wasn’t Aakesh but some other creature who exceeded the level of the skill, Universal Eye.
“I never expected to meet a Watcher here,” The next moment, a familiar voice rang inside Aakesh’s head.
The voice was none other than the voice he had heard on his way over to the entrance of the city, ordering him to stop.
“What’s an Anarchic Parasite doing here?” Aakesh responded. The surprise couldn’t be hidden from his voice.
Anarchic Parasite was one of the Primordial races exclusive to the third dimension that had gotten extinct over time. At their peak, they were one of the overlords, showing their might. If not for the unfortunate tragedy befalling them, they would have been one of the top ten races of the Multiverse.
“You know me?” This time it was the turn of the voice to get surprised as it never expected Aakesh to know about its race.
“Since you know my race, you must also know why you became my carrier,” The next moment, the voice returned to its normal haughtiness as it smugly commented.
If Aakesh knew about the presence of the Anarchic Parasite here, he would have wasted a few more hours searching for another city rather than coming here.
The anarchic Parasite was known for its strength since it had a simple way of capturing its host. It would call for the person it wanted to make its host. If the voice traveled to the host’s ears, then it had completed half of its work.
If the supposed host ignored the call made by the parasite, its capturing speed would be less, but if the host accepted the call, they would lose their soul and become the host of the Anarchic Parasite. No matter what the host did, they would get captured, ignoring gave some time to the person to fight back, but since Aakesh was not aware of its presence here, he didn’t think of doing anything and got captured by the parasite.
