Antoney said, "The original shares were set aside long before you were born. When your mentor left the Williams
family, that ten percent was put under lock and key.
He toldthat back then, when he helped your father hold the company together, he sealed the original shares
for thirty years to prevent any infighting.
At the end of this year, the restriction will be lifted.
When that happens, a lawyer will reach out to you to discuss the share transfer."
Lately, Antoney had been diving into the world of business. The things that once confused him were now starting
to make sense.
He'd originally planned to tell Stella about this after her concert, but the deeper he got into his studies, the more
he realized this was something Stella needed to know as soon as possible.
What if Mr. Williams and his son tried to trick Stella into signing away her rights? He couldn't risk it.
Seeing Stella lost in thought, Antoney gently asked, "Star, what do you think about all this?"
Stella replied without hesitation, "If it's something my mother left foralone, there's no way I'd ever give it
up."

Relief washed over Antoney. "I was worried you might give up your shares for your music career."
Stella laughed. "Do | really seem that naive to you?"
She might not be an expert in business, but even she knew what shares in the Williams Group meant-especially
original shares.
She recalled how, when Aurora's father decided to give Aurora Williams sshares, he'd made it sound like he
was asking her opinion, but really, he was just informing her.
Antoney nodded. "Star, maybe you should read up on sbusiness basics before the Williams men try to set a
trap for you."
Stella agreed. “I'll pick up a few books and start learning."
After chatting a while longer, Stella got ready to head home.
As she stepped out of the studio, she spotted two familiar figures approaching- one tall, one small.
"Mom!" Keen O'Brien ran straight for her, arms outstretched.
Stella caught him and smiled, "Keen, what are you doing here?”
It wasn't the weekend, so he should have been in school.
Keen grinned, "Next week, I'm going diving with Aunt Aurora in Solmaris. | might not see you for a while, so |
wanted to spend stwith you before | go.”
The words caught Stella off guard for a moment.
"You've been spending a lot of twith Aunt Aurora lately?"
Keen thought for a second. "When Grandpa's free, he letsstay over for a day."
Haynes, standing beside them,
added, "Star, Keen and | already
made a plan-over the holiday
take him to see the northerndights and try skiing together."
He looked at Stella, his dark eyes softening with a tenderness that was almost hidden.
"As a father, I've missed so many moments of Keen's childhood. And as a husband, | know | neglected you too.
From
rignon, | want to make it
the
laet
both of you. | want to be and husband you both deserve."
He paused, meeting Stella's eyes.
"I've transferred your old stuback into your name.
And Rachel's seaside villa? That's yours now too.
You can move in, sell it, do whatever you want-it's up to you.
As for Rachel... | called the police. She's in prison now.
How she's dealt with from here on out-it's your decision. Star, | know | wronged you. | hurt you. I'm sorry.
Could you... could you find it in your heart to forgive me?
