Selena took Chance's hand and shook her head, but she could not speak.

She could only look at Eric, begging for help.

Eric carried Chance down from the bed.

"Go to bed. Don't disturb her rest."

Chance turned his head three times and reluctantly left while wiping away his tears.

Selena looked at Eric angrily.

She was blaming him for not having much patience with Chance.

Eric sighed, sat down, and applied the ointment to Selena's neck.

"I'm really not in the mood to think about anything else right now. I’ll apologize to him later, okay?"

Selena blinked her tender and watery eyes.

They finally found her biological father, so they could let go of all their worries.

Seeing his reaction, Eric chuckled.

"Mr. Stanton, is it?"

"Mr. Stanton" reminded Noah of Selena’s biological mother.

She did not even know his name.

Joel Nelson only introduced him as Mr. Stanton, so she could only address him as such.

Back then, she said, "Mr. Stanton, please have mercy.

Please let me go. Please..."

She also said, "I won’t let you get away with this! I hate you! I want you to die!"

She and Selena were indeed mother and daughter. They really looked alike!
