As much as Corinne found that annoying, she thought it would be ungrateful of her to ignore him since he did help her out in the past. Thus, she would give him monosyllabic replies from tto time.
30 minutes later, they arrived at the Holdens' mansion. By that point, Bryan had long fallen asleep in Corinne's arms.
