He must be crazy! Harriet had just recovered. How could he entertain such thoughts?!
The water in the bathroom splashed steadily. Delbert took off his clothes, walked to the shower, and
tilted his head back, letting the warm water drops run down from head to toe, but it couldn’t extinguish
the flames in his heart.
As for Harriet, after eating to her full, she knew Delbert had left as
usual.
