Shax and Stolas’ expressions turned stern once they realized that they were transported into another dimension.
Their eyes narrowed as they realized where they were brought to.
“The Mist Room huh.” Shax muttered as he glared at Fang Yu balefully. “So you have been in cahoots with that ugly-ass Genie. Is that guy with the Soul King with you too?”
“Whether I have connection or not with that guy does not really matter. What’s more important is the fact that you two will be facing me today!”
With Genie trapping the three of them, the Mist Room will only be able to restrain them for 20 minutes. That means there’s 20 minutes for Fang Yu to finish them.
“What can someone like you do in just 20 minutes-” Stolas ridiculed as he saw Fang Yu taking a deep breath.
“Ha!”
Fang Yu let out her power as she displayed her full cultivation prowess.
“What is this!” Both Shax and Stolas knew that inside the Mist Room, any cultivators can display their full fighting prowess. But what they saw was something that they did not expect.
With their power equivalent to the Fourth Stage, they were able to somewhat sense Fang Yu’s cultivation.
“I can sense dao pillars and mana from her, meaning she could be at the Peak Second Stage. But I can also sense that she has cores inside her body! How is this possible!” Shax exclaimed as he gave Fang Yu a wary look.
“Not only that, I can also sense that her body seems to have a base strength rivalling that of a Third Stage Practitioner. Even I…. could not fathom how powerful she could be right now.” Stolas decided to start the fight by sending a casual soul attack to Fang Yu.
“Ding!” Both Djinns were highly disappointed after seeing that Fang Yu seemed to have a way to be immune to soul attacks.
Fang Yu’s violet-tinged eyes leered mirthfully as she taunted them.
“Is that all you’ve got? That’s all that the so-called ‘Great Djinns’ can do? How pathetic!”
“Shut up!” Shax said as he employed his Nature Power.
Shax governs the domain of truth and lies. This means that he can manipulate lies and determine the truth.
But that’s not the only extension of his power. With the power of Lies, he can show his enemies something that was not supposed to be there.
In short, he can fool his enemies with anything he wanted.
As for the power of truth, it allows Shax to see through anything that he sees. No one can lie in front of him, and he can also easily detect illusions and find concealed objects.
The artifact that Shax gave to Shamaila had his power imbued on it.
He personally tore a part of his soul and turned it into the artifact that allowed Shamaila to fool everybody’s senses.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtBecause it was a part of his soul, Shax was unable to use his truth power to see through it, which made it impossible for him to detect where Shamaila was.
But that property made Shax relieved. If he could not see through it, then who else would?
But that property turned into a liability with today’s events.
“I realized when I met that guy in the casino that he was just an illusion.” Shax grinned as his eyes turned into spirals. “Thus I had no qualms about him dying. What made me more interested was the fact that you had some tinges of his aura. That means you know who created that illusion!”
Shax then paused as he saw something incredulous on top of Fang Yu’s head.
“You have a baby sleeping on your head? Is she your daughter? Tsk, tsk, I already knew that you are not fit for my daughter, but you dared to touch her while you had a child? Blasphemous!”
“So what? I am here to make you two shut up.” Fang Yu tried to move forward, but she realized that her body seems to be missing something.
She looked down, and she saw her legs slowly melting off. She flailed her legs, only to find more and more of it disappearing.
Her arms then followed suit, as Fang Yu began to look at them with panic and incredulity.
“This is one part of my Lie Power!” Shax thought smugly to himself.
“I trap my enemy inside an illusory event. There, I can do anything I want to that enemy. Of course it will all be illusions. But they look realistic enough to fool anyone! And if I make you die in the illusion, you will die in actuality!”
Shax savagely grinned as he saw the remnants of Fang Yu dissipating into nothingness.
“You should be thankful you will have a painless death.”
“Is that so? Thanks, but no thanks.” Half of Fang Yu’s face were gone, but that did not stop Shax from seeing her mocking smile.
“You had some great illusions, too bad I have something to counter that.”
“Crash!”
Shax heard some shattering sounds as the area around Fang Yu started to form cracks and shattered like a glass.
The dissipating Fang Yu was gone, only to be replaced by the fully healthy Fang Yu.
“That was so realistic that I almost thought I was disintegrating.” Fang Yu praised Shax as she stretched her body. “But you messed with the wrong illusionist.”
With the Demonic Unicorn Essence Core inside her, Fang Yu was able to detect illusions out from reality. And with her rebirth, the power of her Demonic Unicorn Essence Core was also increased!
3 Celestial Nirvanas allowed Fang Yu to see through an illusion by someone like Shax!
“You…..” Shax was surprised by what Fang Lin did, but that did not mean he was scared of him. “So you are the illusionist that created that guy! So what? Even if you are an illusionist, with me here, all your illusions will be seen through!”
“Of course I know about that.” Fang Yu replied. “So I will be using another way to fight now.”
“Skwee!!!” 4 pairs of wings appeared on Fang Yu’s back, with the second pair from the bottom glowing brightly in the Mist Room.
“Call of the Starlight!”
Seconds passed by, and a large column of red starlight appeared in the Mist Room, all barreling towards Fang Yu.
“Eh? Where did they come from?” Genie complained as she saw these things.
Fang Yu’s first Cosmic Ability, the ‘Call of the Starlight’, allows her to call upon the starlight of any nearby stars.
No matter where Fang Yu was, even if she was in a hidden separate dimension, the starlight that she called will still converge upon her.
Fang Yu’s body was then covered by a white glow which covered her body.
Seconds later, and this glow turned into a transparent, sparkling white aura that covered her body(Imagine something like Ultra Instinct).
Both Stolas and Shax felt wary upon seeing Fang Yu’s current form. They realized that Fang Yu, whose strength was beyond her peers before, became much more unfathomable now!
“Time to attack then I guess.” Stolas muttered as he employed his Nature Power.
His Nature Power just like what Fang Yu determined before, was in the domain of poisons.
Stolas’ whole body was made up of millions of poisons, all nourished by his poison body. He wore the bandages so that any whiff of his poison will not leak out of his body.
And also, those countless poisons within his body made him look so ugly that covering them up will be better.
“Take this!” Since Stolas knew that Fang Yu seemed to be immune to soul attacks, he decided to use the most potent physical poison that he had.
“Rawr!”
A poison dragon appeared out of nowhere, which Shax sent barreling towards Fang Yu.
This poison dragon was made up of 5 deadly poisons, with each one able to deal different ways of tormenting its victim.
1. Blood Boiling Poison: It boils the blood obviously.
2. Cell Bloating Poison: Increases the rate of osmosis, making the victim’s cells gather water even from the environment, which fills all the cells with water, resulting in a not so nice cell explosion.
3. Mutation Poison: Directly attacks the DNA and the chromosomes of the enemy, resulting in unspeakable horrors.
4. Extreme Yang Poison: Imbued with the essence of Extreme Yang, the unfortunate victim of this poison will feel as if they were exposed into a high-temperature furnace until their sweet release of death.
5. Extreme Yin Poison: Same effects as No. 4, only this time it was extreme cold that the victims will experience.
Stolas was a researcher by heart, which made him an expert on concocting countless poisons and their effects. He also managed to create amazing poison tag-teams that allowed their deadly power to increase exponentially.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThis poison dragon of his was one of those.
The 5 poisons created a synergy that allowed this poison dragon to slay even Fourth Stage Practitioners!
Because Stolas knew that the Fourth Stage Practitioners had their souls tempered by their daos and laws, he made his poison dragon to wreak havoc on the physical side of the scale.
“Pente Dilitirio Drakos!”
Fang Yu stared at the incoming poison dragon. She took a deep breath as she seemed to be in a state of intense concentration.
“You know, this poison dragon of yours made me realize something.” Even Fang Yu knew that if she was hit by this dragon, it will be game over for her.
“If you can mix poisons with different attributes with each other, then why can’t I?”
Fang Yu grinned as she clenched both of her fists tightly.
“I have countless powerful single use abilities with me” Fang Yu said as she stared at her Dual Marks.
“So why not I just mix more than 2 Dual Marks? Won’t that be great?”
3 symbols glowed on both her hands as she stared at the incoming poison dragon.
Θ for death, ☉ for fire, and ? for destruction.
These three Dual Marks were not paired with each other for Duality, but they all had a similarity.
They were all geared for decay and destruction!
“With that similarity, maybe I can use an ability with all three of them! If Stolas can create a Poison Dragon, then I will have my own too!”
Fang Yu felt her Origin Energy draining to zero as she employed her Tri-Symbol Spell.
The space around Fang Yu cracked as she willed the three symbols to fuse together.
“F**king combine damn it!” Fang Yu growled as the three symbols flickered while they fused together.
“Attack her now!” Shax said as he realized that Fang Yu was currently defenseless. “Make your damn dragon quicker!”
“Ha!” Stolas shouted as the Poison Dragon accelerated even more.
“Boom!” The Poison Dragon engulfed Fang Yu while she was still busy fusing her symbols.
Silence prevailed as Shax and Stolas heard nothing.
“Is she dead now?” Shax said as he warily approached the dragon.
“Of course she is.” Stolas replied smugly.
“After all, nobody has survived against my poisons yet!”
“…..”
