Chapter 933
Jonathan’s unusual behavior made Rosalie shiver. “Jon, what happened?”
“Answer me first. Am I right?” There was a trace of urgency in Jonathan’s voice.
“Yeah, you’re right. You’re the person I love the most. I will always stand on your side.” Rosalie raised her hands and
hugged Jonathan. “Tell me what’s going on.”
Jonathan didn’t say anything but still held Rosalie tightly with his chin resting on her shoulder. His every breath
seemed a little uneven.
“Jon, we are husband and wife. No matter what happens, I will face it with you,” Rosalie said.
Jonathan was silent for a while before he said slowly, “I’m just feeling sorry for my father. My father loved a woman
so much, that he betrayed the Youngblood family for that woman to stay with her. But that woman left me and my
father without even looking back because my father couldn’t give her more money.”
Rosalie naturally knew that the woman Jonathan mentioned was his mother. “It’s her loss to be without your father.
She will find out later that no man in this world loves her as much as your father does. She will regret the decision
she made at that time.”
“Regret?” Jonathan suddenly sneered. “Why would a woman like her regret it? She’s probably having the time of

Rosalie slowly raised Jonathan’s face and said, “Jon, don’t let your mother hold you down any longer. Those things
have passed. No one knows where your mother is and whether she’s dead or alive. But you have your life to live. If
you’re always immersed in the past, then you will never really be happy. Jon, stop thinking about it, okay?”
“Stop thinking about it?” Jonathan’s eyelashes trembled slightly, then he slowly raised his eyes and looked at
Rosalie. “What if my mother showed up in front of me one day? What would you do?”
“Me?” Rosalie was stunned. She had never thought about such a thing. “I don’t know. What happens between you
and your mother should be your decision. But I hope that you will not regret any decision you make in the future.”
Jonathan’s eyes flickered. “You said it’s up to me to decide, so I’ll definitely not regret the decision I’ve made.”
With that, Jonathan clasped the back of Rosalie’s head and kissed her lips hard.
In the end, Rosalie fell asleep. Jonathan stared at her sleeping face in a daze for a long time before picking her up
and walking into the bathroom.
The light of the bathroom reflected on Rosalie’s skin.
“Rosie, don’t interfere in tomorrow’s affairs, okay? Just watch quietly,” Jonathan murmured. “If that person… is not
her, then I will spare her for your sake. But that woman is the only person in this world I won’t spare!”
If Jonathan chose to forgive Kaylie, then what would become of the pain he endured as a child and Lucian’s death?
Early the next morning, Rosalie, dressed in a turtleneck sweater, accompanied Connor and Kaylie to the cemetery
of the Youngblood family.
Fortunately, it was cold now. It wasn’t surprising to wear a turtleneck sweater.
However, at the thought of Jonathan’s abnormal behavior yesterday, Rosalie somehow felt a little uneasy. Yesterday
was not a mourning day, but Jonathan had gone to the memorial hall and had even mentioned his mother.
Obviously, there was something wrong with him.
In the end, Rosalie didn’t ask what happened and why Jonathan had gone to the memorial hall.
Thinking of last night, Rosalie blushed. She would have to ask Jonathan again tonight to see if he had something on
his mind.
Rosalie, Rosalie!” Rosalie heard the voice of Connor.
Rosalie came back to her senses and asked, “Mr. Smuckler, what’s wrong?”

“Is Jonathan not coming over?” Connor asked.
“Jonathan has a meeting this morning. He may come later. Let’s go in first,” Rosalie said. The car had stopped in
front of the Youngblood family’s cemetery.
“Okay,” Connor said and helped Kaylie get out of the car.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmKaylie had been silent since she came out of the hospital today. At that moment, standing at the entrance to the
cemetery, Kaylie suddenly stopped and looked at the entrance in a daze with red eyes.
“Mrs. Smuckler, why did you stop?” Rosalie asked.
“Oh, it’s nothing. Let’s go in,” Kaylie said in a choked voice.
Connor patted Kaylie on the shoulder as if he was comforting her and reminding her of something.
Rosalie led them into the cemetery and came to Lucian’s tombstone. There was a black-and-white photo of Lucian
when he was young. He was smiling softly.
It seemed as though time had come to a standstill within this black-and-white photograph.
Kaylie looked at Lucian’s photo blankly, and suddenly she couldn’t control her emotions anymore and burst into
tears.
Rosalie was at a loss. “Mrs. Smuckler, what’s wrong with you?”
Kaylie cried harder and almost knelt in front of the tombstone. She sounded devastated and sad. “Kaylie probably
thought of a friend… She had a friend who died when she was very young, so her mood is a little unstable,” Connor
explained. He then squatted down and comforted Kaylie, “Don’t cry. It’s all in the past. You were just discharged
from the hospital. I worry that if you exhaust yourself with tears, it may hinder the recovery of your leg.”
