Chapter 53 +25 BONUS Their first kiss in three years was explosive-at least for Krs. As soon as his lips touched hers, sensations he'd only ever experienced with her surged through every pore of his body.
If only it had lasted a while longer.
But it didn't. Just a few seconds later, Thalassa pushed against him with all her might, and when he stumbled back, her palm connected with his cheek in a fierce slap.
"Don't you ever do that again. Ever again," she spat, fury blazing in her eyes.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtKris took another step back, running a frustrated hand through his hair. "If you didn't wantto kiss you, then why did you say all those things to me? Why did you provoke me?" "Because I wanted you to see just how pathetic you are. But you have no right to kissever again in your life. No right! Is that clear?" Glowering at him one last time, she made her way to the washroom door and opened it before stepping out. "Fuck!" Kris slammed his fist into the wall, furious with himself.
She was right. He was pathetic. How had he allowed himself to be provoked like that? Now she knew that she still had an effect on him! Earlier, after Thalassa left for the washroom, Clark and Luisa continued dancing until Clark paused with a frown and spoke.
"Hey, don't you think Thalassa is taking a little too long?" Luisa also stopped dancing as she nodded. "You're right. Letgo and check on her." She made her way off the dance floor, but just as she got to the mouth of the hallway that led to the washrooms, a firm hand grasped her arm.
She let out a gasp, ready to shriek, when the man spoke.
"Don't make a fuss. It's me." Luisa relaxed even as she glared at him. "Victor? What are you doing here?" "I should be the one asking you that question," he grimaced. "You and I need to talk. Let's go outside." He began dragging her towards the entrance. Luisa knew she could've freed herself or even resisted, but she willingly went with him because she agreed they needed to talk. She wanted to set things straight.
"Let go of me!" she demanded when they finally got outside, jerking her arm from his hold.
"Why haven't you been picking up my calls or replying to my texts?" he snarled.
Luisa crossed her arms over her chest. "Because I didn't feel like it," she said, narrowing her eyes. "How did you even know where to find me?" "I tracked your phone," he admitted. "And guess my surprise when I realized you'd cto a club, the very kind of place I've forbidden you from coming to." Luisa was furious, glaring back at him indignantly. "First of all, who do you think you are to track my phone?" she hissed, making a mental note to tighten security on her phone later. "Second, you're no one to forbidfrom 12 +25 BONUS doing anything." "I'm your boyfriend!" he snapped. "I told you to return to New York in two days. Why are you still here?" "Didn't you hear any of what I said?" Luisa huffed, though she wasn't surprised. Throughout their relationship, what she thought or wanted never truly mattered. It was always about what he wanted or how he felt. She'd always put him first, like the idiot she'd been. But not anymore.
"Didn't you givean ultimatum to return or forget about our relationship?" she sneered. "Isn't it obvious that I've already made my choice?" His eyes darkened. "So you're saying you want to break up with me? You're out of your mind," he huffed. "This is all because of that stupid friend of yours, isn't it? She's the one putting these stupid ideas in your head." "Don't you dare insult Thalassa," Luisa warned, pointing a threatening finger at him.

Victor was taken off guard by her boldness. Obviously, he needed to put her in her place again, to make her the submissive woman she'd been before. He lunged forward, grabbing her arm. "Enough with your stupid, childish tantrums. Let's go." "Let go of me," Luisa hissed, snatching her arm out of his grasp. "I am not going anywhere with you.'
"Yes, you're coming with me," he said with determination as he grabbed her again, this tmuch stronger and filmer. "We're going to spend the night at my hotel, and we'll return to New York first thing tomorrow."
"You're sick. Let go of me. You can't forceto cwith you," Luisa fumed, thrashing her body to free herself from him, but he was too strong. No matter how she resisted, he continued pulling her until they got to a car.
"Victor, I said let go of me. I do not belong to you, and I'm not going anywhere with you," Luisa said, still struggling.
"Shut up," Victor gritted out as he opened the door. But just as he was about to shove her inside, a voice bellowed behind them.
"Let her go right now!"
