Chapter 112 +25 BONUS PRESENT AT THE AWARDS SHOW....

Though Thalassa had not mentioned any names, all eyes turned to Linda Miller.

Realising the accusatory stares she was receiving, Linda immediately shot to her feet. "Why are you all looking at me? I didn't do anything!" A small chuckle from the stage pulled everyone's attention back to Thalassa. “She's right. I haven't said her name, so why are you all looking at her?" Murmurs spread through the audience like wildfire.

"It's definitely her." A guest called out.

"Remember how she and her family treated Thalassa so poorly when she was their daughter-in-law?" Another said.

"Silence, please," the host urged, turning back to Thalassa after the crowd quieted down. "Are you going to tell us who tried to sabotage you in such a way? Our organisation takes unfair competition very seriously." Thalassa shook her head calmly. "No, Pipino. I'd rather not mention names. I believe in karma, and I know it will eventually run its course." A small smile touched her lips. "Once again, thank you so much, everyone, for all the love and support you've shown me. You are all part of the reason I won today." She blew a kiss to the audience, her fingers lightly brushing her lips, before turning on her heel and heading backstage. Luisa and the rest of the team followed.

Immediately, whispers filled the air once more.

"What a horrible person Linda Miller is." Every comment seemed like a jab at Linda until she finally exploded, “Shut up, all of you! I did not do anything. That woman is only trying to frme!" "Mum!" Susan hissed, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment at her mother's outburst. "You have to control yourself." Breathing heavily, Linda slumped back into her chair, only to be met with Kris's intense stare. He hadn't said a word since Thalassa showed the videos, but his clenched jaw and gritted teeth said enough.

Linda's heart sank at the disappointment in his eyes. "Son. Kris, you can't possibly believe that I had a hand in destroying the dresses, can you?" Kris's expression was unreadable as he muttered, "Excuse me." With that, he jumped up, ready to leave when Linda grabbed his arm. "Son, you can't just walk away like that. Everyone will think I'm guilty." To her dismay, he shrugged her off and stormed away without another word.

Conflicted emotions swirled in Kris's chest: shock, anger, regret, and doubt all mixed together. Though Thalassa hadn't named anyone, he sensed she was implying the the culprit was his mother.

Could it be? Could his mother have been behind the destruction of Thalassa's designs? Either way, he needed to speak with Thalassa.

1/3 Chapter 112 +25 BONUS As he tried to take a different route to get backstage, a man who appeared to be a guard stepped in front of him. "Sir, I'm sorry, but this area isn't accessible to just anyone Kris's let out a hiss of frustration. "Look, I need to get through. I need to speak with Thalassa. It's urgent." "I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait for her to cout and decide if she wants to talk to you. Only authorized personnel are allowed past this point. You can't-" Before the guard could finish, Kris shoved him aside and dashed backstage, his eyes darting around as he searched for Thalassa. Numerous doors lined the backstage area, and there were mostly women standing and walking by, all of them looking at him with strange expressions.

Unable to see Thalassa, Kris felt so desperate that he held the arm of a woman passing by. "I'm sorry, but can you please tellwhere the dressing room for TT Fashion is?" The woman blinked in surprise at his sudden grip but quickly pointed. "It's over there." Kris sprinted in the direction she indicated, aware that the guard was chasing after him. He spotted Thalassa and her team about to enter a room and hurried towards her.

"Thalassa!" he called out.

At the sound of his voice, Thalassa paused and slowly turned to face him, her expression becoming an unreadable mask.

"What do you want, Kris?" The guard caught up to him and grabbed his arm. “Sir, you have to leave right now." Kris yanked his arm away. "Let go of me. I need to speak to her." Thalassa raised a hand, signaling the guard to step back, which he reluctantly did.

"Whatever you have to say, make it quick,” she said icily, looking like she wasn't in any mood to tolerate his presence.

"I just want to tell you how sorry I am that something like this happened to you. No matter what, it wasn't right. And-"

A cold laugh escaped her lips. "You're She let o sorry? Really, Kris?" She let out m nother chuckle, this one sharper than the first. "Aren't you tired of being such a hypocrite?"

Kris stiffened, a frown creasing his forehead. "What do you mean? Do you think I'm pretending to be sorry that this happened to you? Thalassa-"

"Cut the crap, Kris!" Luisa interjected sharply as she stepped forward, her voice brimming with anger, such a scumbag! We know the truth. We know it was you paid our model to destroy our designs!"
