Lilian pursed her lips in response. Ever since Wynn and Trevor had been in a relationship, no one had made her
feel sorry for herself, be it the Lockets or the Shaws. After all, she had his backing.

“And yet, none of you made a peep when | asked for a violation of contract agreement. What is the meaning of
this? Do you all think you can belittle anyone as you please because you think you are powerful and influential?”
“This isn’t a big deal,” Wynn protested icily. “Ms. Rodriguez, why do you insist on blowing it out of proportion?”
“Ms. Locket. Your cousin recklessly mocked YodaVision Co. It was clear that she was in the wrong, and yet your
mother helped her in pressuring me.
“Now, you are aware that your family made the mistake here, Ms. Locket. Not only did you not apologize to the
people of my company, but you pinned the blon us and said that we were the ones who blew things out of
proportion.”
Celeste glanced at Wynn and said, “I've always heard that you were compassionate, sensible, and extremely
kind- hearted. From what I can tell now, that is not the case.
“Ms. Locket, neither you nor your family live up to that reputation at all.”
