Dinner on Friday?

| had successfully dodged the bullet every time; however, | couldn't stay in a passive position forever. He was

the one who hurt me, so why should I live in doubt and fear? It

should be him.

After a small pause, | agreed with him with a professional smile.

“Why not, Mr. Leo? See you on Friday night.”

As soon as Leo left, | checked the documents of his records, where it was mentioned that he

was married once and now single. But using his resources, he was able to conceal his

As | contemplated it, it crossed my mind that the situation wasn’t that simple in the past. The doctor had to flee

the country, as if he was criminal, although he was just a simple doctor at the village infirmary. Then the

unknown reason for him going abroad didn’t make any sense, | was definitely missing a piece of this jigsaw

puzzle.
